My guys from Flamengo have a hot date with Madureira on Thursday. Mengao has one win and three ties for six points while Madureira has one win, two losses, and one tie for four points.

Two points separate places four thru eight.

The guys have to win this sucker. Rubro-Negro can’t afford another tie.

Botafogo blasted Olaria 5-0.

Resende defeated Nova Iguacu 3-1.

Macaé and Bonsucesso tied two all.

The guys are struggling scoring goals. Flamengo didn’t score in their last two matches.

This is not good. Rubro-Negro has scored five goals and given up none so far in the Taça Guanabara. The top two teams advance to the semifinals.

Right now Mengao is on the outside looking in.

Resende and Fogao have the top two spots.

They way it stands now the boo-Mengao is three points outta off the pace. Nova Iguacu has eight points. We need full points to move into second place.

Resende is a minus one.

Botafogo is a plus seven.

Mengao is a plus four.

River Plate is in a fight for their very lives. Los Millionaires sunk off the face of the earth last year.

The guys have won 33 league titles.

River Plate was sent packing to Nacional B de Argentina.

Right now Los Millionaires is sitting in second place with 34 points.

River Plate is tied on points with Rosario Central but Los Millionaires is a plus 17 compared with Los Canallas plus seven.

The top two clubs will get a get outta jail free card.

Instituto de Cordoba is top dog with 36.

Up next for River Plate is Chacarita on Saturday.

Los Funebreros is dead last with 14 points.

These cats have a cool nickname.

The name means the undertakers.

So far Los Funebreros is dead and buried in last place.

Los Canallas will take on Defensa y Justicia on Saturday também.

This match even has cooler nicknames.

The Scoundrels and the Hawks will duke it out.

Defensa y Justicia has only played one season with the big boys-2005-06.

Rosario Central has won four domestic titles. The Los Canallas were sent packing to Nacional b in 2009-10.

Central got their name the Scoundrels when they played a charity match for a leprosy clinic in the 1920’s.

Mengao and Botafogo battled to a nil-nil draw. This stupid tie dropped Flamengo to third place in Group A. The guys have one win and three draws.

This sucks big time.

At this rate Rubro-Negro will not play in the Taça Guanabara Campeonato.

Mengao started their top players but the result was crap. Both sides played poorly. There weren’t that many scoring opportunities. Sure the expectations were high but Gaucho company didn’t deliver.

O alvinegro, comandado por Andrezinho, chegava com mais frequência, mas esbarrava nos erros de Elkeson e Loco Abreu na hora da conclusão das jogadas.

Once again Mengao decided to use the second team in their match against Macaé. Our first match using the B team proved successful. The guys destroyed Bonsucesso 4-0 however this time around the young guns escaped with a nil-nil draw.

Give me a break will ya. Macaé was a man down and the boo-Mengao couldn’t even score.

This is down right despicable.

Flamengo is still top dog after two matches with four points.

Os jovens jogadores rubro-negro ficaram no 0 a 0 na segunda partida da Taça Guanabara. O time titular foi poupado para a partida da Libertadores no meio da semana. Vagner Love, a estrela apresentada na sexta-feira, ainda não tem condições de jogo.

The problem was this Mengao’s reserves couldn’t do anything right. Rubro-Negro was under so much pressure from Macaé that we were lucky escape with a tie.

A partida começou com uma pressão do Macaé sobre os reservas do Flamengo. Comandado por Pipico, que fez bom Carioca em 2011 pelo Bangu, e André Gomes, a equipe da casa dominava o meio de campo com bom toque de bola. Além disso, a marcação anulou as jogadas de Bottinelli, principal arma de ataque rubro-negra. No entanto, quem chegou primeiro foi a equipe da Gávea, com uma falta cobrada de longe por Jael.

Once the idiots who run Flamengo are screwing up a good thing. Ronaldinho Gaucho was not paid the 3.75 million bucks the club owes him. He arrived fifteen minutes late. Hell I wouldn’t show up at all until these fools paid me the bucks they owed me. Hey fools where’s my money.

On top of that Gaucho and headman Luxemburgo are at odds. This relationship is in the shitter. No wonder Ronaldinho Gaucho is performing poorly.

Then these jackasses who run the club use Vanger Love as an example. Hells bells and odds bodkins get real Love jusk like  any other player who wasn’t paid what they should have been wouldn’t show up on time.

UOL Os problemas envolvendo Ronaldinho Gaúcho e Flamengo parecem não ter fim. Nesta segunda-feira, o craque, que ainda não recebeu os cerca de R$ 3,75 milhões que o clube lhe deve, chegou 15 minutos atrasados ao CT do Ninho do Urubu, em Vargem Grande, zona oeste do Rio de Janeiro, e gerou mais um desconforto em sua estremecida relação com o técnico Vanderlei Luxemburgo.

Enquanto Ronaldinho chegou atrasado na reapresentação do grupo rubro-negro, o atacante Vagner Love deu o exemplo nesta segunda-feira. Em seu primeiro dia de treinos, o camisa 99 foi um dos primeiros a chegar ao Centro de Treinamento. O “Artilheiro do Amor” realizou apenas uma atividade na academia do Ninho do Urubu e correu em volta do gramado por cerca de 20 minutos.

Flamengo lost to Real Potosi 2-1 at Leon Imperial’s house Bolivia. Leon Imperial is up 2-1 on aggregate. This means the guys are going to have to hold Real Potosi goalless and win 2-0. Mengao has the all important away goal in this home at home series.

Rubro-Negro took the lead when Muralha found the back of the net in the 28^th minute.

Leon Imperial responded  in kind with a goal by Claudio Centurion in the 30^th minute.

Real Potosi nailed the match winner in the 57^th minute.

UOL- Mesmo com o período de treinos na altitude, o Flamengo mostrou muita dificuldade com o ar rarefeito de 4.100m de Potosí-BOL. No entanto, a equipe da casa tentou se aproveitar disso para pressionar o Rubro-Negro e saiu de campo no jogo de ida da primeira fase da Libertadores com uma vitória de 2 a 1. Luiz Antônio abriu o placar para o time carioca, enquanto Centurión e Brittes garantiram a vitória para os bolivianos.

As chances vinham sempre da mesma maneira: através dos chutes de longa distância. No entanto, muitos destes remates do Real Potosí paravam nas defesas de Felipe. Quando o Flamengo conseguiu ter um breve domínio da posse de bola, o gol saiu. Léo moura fez uma belíssima jogada na direita e rolou de bandeja para Luiz Antônio, que só teve o trabalho de escorar para o fundo da rede.

There is good news coming out of Flamengo. It looks real good that Vanger Love will sign with Rubro-Negro.

The deal is 90% done.

This is a huge signing for the guys. Love teamed with Ronaldinho Gaucho will give Mengao a great one-two punch.

We lost our third leading scorer when Thiago Neves signed with Fluminense.

Mengao is now playing the Carioca Championship. This competition is done in two stages that will end in May 2012.

Flamengo destroyed Bonsucesso 4-0 in the opening round Campeonato Estadual do Rio.

Rubro-Negro is in Group A. The sides in involved are Botafogo, Madureira, Nova Iguacu, Macaé, Olaria, Resende, Flamengo, and Bonsucesso.

Jael led Mengao with a daily double.

Camacho and Adryan scored também.

Globo Esporte Sem Ronaldinho Gaúcho e companhia, o Flamengo B cumpriu seu papel e venceu o Bonsucesso por 4 a 0 em sua estreia no Campeonato Carioca, na noite deste sábado, no Engenhão. Enquanto integrantes da diretoria viajavam para a Rússia para tentar um desfecho positivo na negociação com Vagner Love, Jael voltou a honrar o apelido de Cruel e marcou duas vezes. Camacho, com bela atuação, anotou o terceiro, e Adryan, que fez sua estreia oficial no time de cima, fechou o placar com um belo gol.

Futebol in Brasil is a twelve-month season. It all begins in January with the State Championships and ends in December with the close of the Serie A.

The stoops at Flamengo are at it again. We lost one of our best players to Fluminense. Thiago Neves said bye-bye to Mengao nation. Flu signed Neves for sixteen million bucks. He was one of the main reasons why we finished in fourth place. Without him we would have been lost.

Neves scored 12 goals this past season. He was the third leading scorer on Rubro-Negro.  Deivid led the way with 15 goals. Ronaldinho Gaucho was second with 14.

Mengao has extended an offer to get Vanger Love back to Flamengo. Earlier CSK Moscow turned down an offer of six million dollars. Love wants to returned to Mengao. He played with Mengao 2010 season and help Flamengo win the 2010 Campeonato.

The headline matches or as I like to call them the big boys matches will take place on Sunday.

My guys from Arsenal have a hot date with Man City.

We have to be on the top of our game.

We can’t afford any brain farts.

Robin Van Persie and the gang need to apply a ton of pressure on the Citizens net yet at the same time the Gunners need to play air tight “D”.

This is a must.

Vincent Kompany is the key for City. This cat will trigger the offense. However in my eyes they guy who will be a large part of the Citizens attack will be Mario Balotelli.

Balotelli has found the back of the net eight times.

City’s Sergio Aquero is the clubs top goal getter with 11.

The Citizens have a ton of firepower.

Edin Dzeko has tickled the twines ten times.

Our guys have to be muito cuidado.

RVP is the only guy who has found the net on a consistent basis. He has ripped the twines 15 times.

Mikel Arteta, Thomas Vermaelen, and Gervinho have scored three times apiece.

It would help our cause if these cats would pick up the scoring pace.

City’s “D” will stack it against Van Persie and force someone like Arteta beat em.

Chelsea plays on Saturday when they take on Wigan on the road.

Then the EPL will fire full steam ahead into their Christmas schedule.

They boys will play on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday then they will be off until December 26^th.  After that it is a race to squeeze in two more rounds of matches before a winter break after January 4^th.

Here is the skinny on the Brasileiros Serie A. 

Corinthians is the champ.

Timao won their first title since 2005.

Corinthians was sent down to D-2 ball in 2007.

It took Timao two years to dig out of the hole.

Corinthians made it back in 2009 to Brasileiros Serie A.

Atletico—PR, Ceara, America-MG, and Avai were sent packing to Serie B or as I like to call it D-2 ball.

Portuguesa, Nautico, Ponte Preta, and Sport were promoted to the big boys league.

Sent packing from Serie B were Icasa, Vila Nova-GO, Salgueiro, and Duque de Caxias to the depths of whale dung Serie C.

If a club has dropped past Serie B it is a long hard process to dig ones way out of this huge hole.

All one has to do is ask Juventude.

Santos defeated Kashiwa 3-1 in the semifinals of the FIFA World Club Championships held in Japan.

Peixe won the Copa Libertadores title.

Neymar was the hero for Santos.

He scored in the 18^th minute.

Peixe will face the winner of the Barcelona- Al-Sadd played today.

My guys from Flamengo ended Vasco’s dream of winning the Brasileiros Serie A.

Gigante de Colina and Mengao tied one all.

This was a must game for us.

We had to have a result.

Internacional defeated Gremio 1-0.

If the guys didn’t get the tie this would have dropped Flamengo to fifth place in the table.

A goal by Renato in the 54^th minute saved our hides.

In the 30^th minute a goal by Diego Souza gave Gigante de Colina the lead.

It sure looked like Vasco would win the whole banana until the death knell struck twelve.

Corinthians and Palmeiras tied nil-nil to give Timao the crown.

Corinthians finished with 71 points.

Vasco ended up with 69.
