Sao Paulo is top dog in the Serie A. Tricolor the evil empire is a perfect 5-0. The Paulistas have 15 points.
Second place belongs to Palmeiras with 11 points.
Alviverde has three wins and two draws.
Corinthians is in third place with ten points.
Timao has three wins, one draw and one loss.
Mengao is in 10th place with seven points.
The boo Flamengo has one win and four draws.
Eight points separate the top ten places.
The difference between Rubro-Negro and the evil empire is ties.
Mengao has four ties while Sao Paulo has five wins.
Flamengo has lost 11 points while Tricolor has gotten the maximum number of points.
Ties and losses kill a clubs title chances.
Only Palmeiras has score more goals then Mengao.
Alviverde has scored ten goals.
Flamengo has scored nine and Sao Paulo has scored nine.
In our last four matches we have given up late leads or have not dented the scoreboard and thus results in Mengao buried in tenth place.
This is Déjà vu all over again.
Flamengo finished in 14th place with 44 points. Five points separated the 18th place Guarani-SP and 14th place Mengao.
This bull crap needs to stop now.

Mengao had a chance for the win but the million dollar man Ronaldinho Gaucho did a choke city on a PK in the 49th minute.
Instead, Flamengo and Macae tied one all.
Rubro-Negro’s unbeaten string in is now at 22 matches.
Jean scored the only marker for Mengao in the 57th minute.
The tie keeps Flamengo in the second spot in Group One.
Rubro-Negro has 16 points while Vasco is top dog with 17 points.
It is now on to the semifinals for the Mengao guys.
My Flamengo guys will battle Fluminense in one of the semifinals on Sunday April 23rd.
Let’s hope when the real season begins in May Ronaldinho Gaucho and company will be ready.

Ronaldinho Gaucho celebrated his 31st birthday with friends at huge party. He partied hardy for two days and then returned to training.
Ronaldinho Gaucho was given the heave-hoe from Sunday’s match against Cabofriense. His absence couple with Thiago Neves getting the heave-hoe também cost us dearly.
It was only tie but it could have been worse.
Globo Esporte wrote it this way- Ronaldinho Gaúcho demonstrou fôlego para apagar as velas pelos seus 31 anos.
UOL put it this way- Quase dois dias de festa, samba, funk e muita diversão.
Up next, for Mengao is Madureira on Sunday March 27th.
This is a must win sucker for Rubro-Negro.
My friend Tophatal got it right once again. He wrote in his blog that Man U was in the deep shits financially.
Check this story out- written by ESPN- The parent company that owns Manchester United has announced a loss of £108.9 million for last year.
Red Football Joint Venture – owned by the Glazer family – revealed the figure for the year ending June 30, 2010 in their accounts, which also include a number of one-off payments, according to files submitted to Companies House. One of those was the cost of setting up a £526 million bond scheme to provide the American owners with cash in the short-term to service a number of outstanding debts.
While the previous year’s results revealed a profit of £21 million, payment in kind (PIK) loans that have since been paid off were also a contributing cause for the downturn in fortunes. A lack of notable player sales has also been blamed – in 2010 the club could include the £80 million departure of Cristiano Ronaldo as part of their trading.
United’s own club accounts were published in October and revealed losses of £83.6 million. At the time chief executive David Gill remained upbeat about financial matters at Old Trafford.
“We have money in the bank so there is zero pressure on that, no pressure at all to sell any star player,” Gill said at the time. “We have £165 million in the bank but in some ways we would prefer to have £80 million in the bank and Ronaldo on the pitch.”
Sir Alex Ferguson could be set to rebuild his side in the summer, with Manuel Neuer, David de Gea, Javier Pastore and Jack Rodwell all linked with the club in recent weeks. And, even in light of the financial news, Ferguson has been assured he will have money to spend.
A source told ESPNsoccernet: “There have been suggestions that the club are financially handicapped in some way with the latest accounts of the club’s parent company showing more than a £100 million loss for the year, but they are exceptional circumstances.
“There is £165 million cash in the bank, and even as we stand the club would pass UEFA’s fair financial play rules. No one is saying Sir Alex is going to spend all the cash in the bank, but he is going to replace a number of star players, and that is not going to come cheap. If he wishes to spend £100 million the funds are in place for him to do so.
“As for the club’s finances, Manchester United are on course to break the £100 million commercial profits barrier for the year. The club is best judged financially from the last quarterly accounts of the club, which showed the debt in the region of £500 million, interest repayments of £45 million but £100 million profits in a year.”
This is it.

I am glad Arsene Wenger is not backing down from what he said about the shit head of a ref Massimo Busacca and his stupidly.
Yes, the Gunners played without passion after RVP was sent off.
Who wouldn’t!
This is like a kick in the nuts.
Look, the fix was in.
FIFA is part of the problem.
There has been an axe to grind with the EPL for the last few years because Chelsea, Liverpool, Man U, and Arsenal made it to the semi-finals or finals the last three outta four years.
Wenger had this to say about the ref – “I don’t understand where that comes from,” he said. “It is the kind of thing that is difficult to understand.
“It is a shame the referee took the decision to send off Robin van Persie because it was the wrong decision. The first game was a fantastic advert for football and the second game has been destroyed. The only thing that people remember is that the sending off killed the game.
“This decision frustrated us and frustrated everybody who loves football.”
What he said privately to the idiot Busacca was not revealed- “I will keep that for UEFA if they really want to know because I will have some interesting statements to make about some statements made by people who were not supposed to say what they said.
“You can check any statement I made on television after the game. If I have done anything wrong I am ready to be charged.
”As for what is said in the tunnel, if you can get just one [time] where I have come out on what has been said against me or against the referee [in a tunnel] during my 15 years in England, I will pay for you to have a big holiday.”
The fix is in.
FIFA wants Barca to win and they will do everything in their power to make sure Camp Nou represents Europe in the FIFA World Club Title.
It is a fix baby!

Lot’s of fun stuff to talk about today.
Lets start with the Campeonato.
Fluminense is top dog with 61 points. Second place belongs to Corinthians with 60 points. Sitting in third place is Cruzeiro with 60 points também. Timao has a better goal difference. Corinthians has a plus 21 while Raposa is a plus 12.
Mengao is buried in 13th place with 40. Flamengo is a perfect zero goal difference yet this is a deceiving number.
In our last four matches, Rubro-Negro has given up five goals while scoring only four.
This is a minus one.
Flamengo “D’ has been suspect all year. At times Mengao has looked great while times we looked like a machine gun riddled body.
Marcelo Lomba has taken over for super keeper Bruno in June of this year. Bruno is the hoosegow for murder. Lomba is good but he ain’t no Bruno.
Bruno was bad at times but he could flat out play keeper.
Flamengo sorely misses the murdering bastard.
There are four matches left in the season.
Our title hopes are dead but we need to win two out of our last four matches to avoid the drop-dead zone.
Up on Saturday is Atletico-MG at Galo’s house in Mineiro.
Galo is one-step above the voce vai zone.
Atletico-MG has 36 points.
A win would give Galo 39 points.
It’s all about the “W’s” baby.
This is the name of the game.
Luxemburgo will start Petkovic, Diego Mauricio, and Diogo.
Headman Luxemburgo was asked if Mengao loses what will happen to the club in the long run. He said, It doesn’t matter for we have three matches left. This will not kill Mengao. “Nada será decidido se perdemos o jogo. Se ganharmos, é lógico que vamos ficar numa situação bacana. Precisamos analisar toda a competição e não apenas esta partida. É um jogo importante, mas não decisivo”, encerrou.
My guys from Arsenal have a hot date with Everton on Sunday.
We need to win this sucker.
The Gunners are in third place with 23 points.
Arsenal is five points behind top dog Chelsea.
The Blues have 28 points.
Wenger spoke about the huge win over Wolves- www.arsenal.com We were in the lead early on and the victory was so important for us that we focused tonight maybe more on defending and keeping the result. We couldn’t take our chances and if you look at the game we had many chances. I must say you have to give credit to Wolves because they are a good side. They are good defensively, they are good at winning the ball back and they always looked dangerous. They have a good mixture between long balls and build up play and are a side who will give problems to anyone in this league.
Wenger added about the tussel with Wolverhampton- Overall it was a committed game and a very correct one. Wolves were physically very strong tonight and kept a high tempo for 90 minutes and I must say I was impressed by them. But I was as well impressed by our spirit, our determination and our resilience. Today we have seen a side of my team that will be very important throughout the season.
Wenger spoke about the availability of Kieran Gibbs- We should not have any bad news from last night,” said the manager. “The squad should be the same.
“We could have Gibbs available to be part of it again too. We’ll make the decision at the end of the week. He is back in normal training. It is just whether he is fit or not.”
Wenger said he would make some changes for our upcoming match against Everton. There are always one or two changes,” said the Frenchman. “Some players have played a lot and we have some fresh, quality players on the bench.
“Some are not completely match-fit like Van Persie and Bendtner but in midfield there may be one or two changes.”

Flamengo couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn with a machine gun or a howitzer. This was down right worse than bad.
Mengao lost to Atletico-PR 1-0.
Sure, we hung in there for most of the match,
Yes, Rubro-Negro had some great scoring opportunities but nothing resulted.
This is pure bupkis.
A late stupid defensive error allowed Atletico-PR to score in the 82nd minute.
Paulo Baier floated a corner kick into the box.
Keeper Lomba and defender Leo Moura let Furacao attacker Manoel head home the match winner.
Flamengo keeper Marcelo Lomba looked like a windmill as he tried to stop the perfectly placed header that was squeezed between Lomba and the left post.
Mengao hasn’t won in Coritiba in 36 years.
You can stick a fork in Mengao’s chances of winning the Campeonato.
Hey Patricia baby sign a real striker.
Rubro-Negro’s offense is down right offensive.
It sucks big time baby.
With the win, Atletico moved up the table and out of the danger zone. Furacao now has 17 points.
Flamengo has now dropped out of the top four. Rubro-Negro is now in ninth place with 20 points.
We are now in deep do-do.

Fluminense got by Santos 1-0.
The win vaulted Flu to second place in the table.
Corinthians has 21 bad boys.
Po-de-arroz has 19 points.
Ceara has 18 points.
Flamengo moved up one spot to fourth place with 15 points.
The race is on.
Sao Paulo has almost dropped outta sight.
Tricolor is buried in 13th place.
Vasco is still in the danger zone.
Gigante de Colina is in 17th place with nine points.
It is still very early in the season to ring up the white flag however; nine matches into the season there are some trends.
Timao started out very strong last year but by the end of the 2009 season Corinthians wound up in tenth place.
This year will be different for Timao.
Corinthians is strong this year.
Timao has more pieces in place and this will make them very dangerous.
All one has to do is look at the results.
Six wins, three draws, and zero losses.
Flamengo seems to have found a diamond in the rough with keeper Marcelo Lomba. Lomba has been playing lights since the murder Bruno was sent to prison.
The loss of Bruno, the drug addict Adriano, and Love may have motivated Petkovic and the rest to show us how good they can be.
Mengao has controlled the two last to matches.
Flamengo is now dictating the tempo and flow of the match thus forcing opponents to play our style of play.
This is upbeat and attacking.
Rubro-Negro needs another striker.

Mengao finally found a way to win on the road. Palmeiras reject Vagner Love ripped the twines in the 88th minute to lift Flamengo to an all-important 1-0 win over Palmeiras.
The star of game was Mengao keeper Bruno.
Bruno stopped three point blank shots on goal to preserve the bagel.
We need this sucker.
Rubro-Negro has two wins, one loss, and three ties.
This win many have saved our season.
We will see.
Bruno was on top of his game.
The Mengao defense sucked big time.
Flamengo played the famous Oh lay defense.
This almost cost us big time.
Bruno was the big eraser.
Both sides had their chances but Flamengo and Palmeiras fired blanks.
Globo Esporte reported that both sides made sloppy passes. True to a point but Mengao didn’t play “D.”
You can cut this seventy-five ways to Sunday if Mengao continues to play “D” like this we will be in for a long season.
Love nailed a perfect winner (75th minute) off a great centering pass but he was ruled off side.
This baby didn’t count.
Upon further review, Love was a hair offside.
Love founded the answer in the 88th minute. The Love man weaved his way thru the entire Verdao “D”. He fired a deft ball that was squeezed just inside the left post.
Love’s shot had the Verdao keeper Marcos beat dead to rights.
Game, set and match to Flamengo.
This was a homecoming for Vagner Love.
Love played with Palmeiras last year.
A win is a win and I will take it.
Rubro-Negro is now in fourth place with nine points.
Palmeiras is in tenth place with eight points.

Pompey fought the gallant fight but in the end Chelsea’s superior firepower, won the FA Cup in a thrilling 1-0 win.
Chelsea had the most scoring chances but the Blues couldn’t pull the trigger until Didier Drogba’s deadly free kick from twenty yards out was squeezed between Portsmouth keepers David James out stretched hand the right post in the 59th minute.
Prior to Drogba’s deadly strike Pompey had a golden chance to spin the match on its head but Kevin-Prince-Boateng’s PK was stone cold stopped by Blues keeper Petr Cech in the 56th minute.
Wham bam just like that in a span of three minutes the match was twisted on its ear and the Blues stuck a fork in Pompey’s dream of winning the FA Cup.
Portsmouth is broke and given the heave-hoe all in one season, yet this was a glorious run by the foreclosed side.
The money made from reaching the FA Cup might help the bankrupt Pompey.
Frank Lampard had a chance to increase the Blues lead in the 89th minute but Portsmouth keeper David James said “No way Jose” and shut em down.
Way to go garoto.
All in all Chelsea was in complete control of the match from beginning to end.
The Blues achieved the daily double winning the EPL and FA Cup titles.
Trust me when I say this Chelsea is heading down the backside of forty. This means Drogba and the boys are getting older. Their window of opportunity is rapidly closing.
They need to bring in younger players to replace the fading stars.
The “Special One” Jose Mourinho brought Drogba and the rest in but the management has not found replacements for them.
Mourinho is good a winning titles with other peoples talent but his ability to build a championship squad stinks.
This is not Mourinho’s strong suit.
Man U had a down year by their standards but remember the Red Devils lost the fake Ronaldo and few other players. The mighty boys from Old Trafford played a very young squad.
Watch out EPL!
My guys from Arsenal are in the same boat. We were besieged by injuries. Younger guys such as Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, and Carlos Vela were asked to step in big time to replace RVP and Cesc Fabregas who were hit by the injury bug.
My Gunners will be ready next year to win the title as well.

Mengao stunk the joint at Maracanã on Wednesday night in a 3-2 loss to Universidad de Chile.
The score was closer than the game indicated. Chile jumped out an early 2-0 lead. Both of the Chilean goals were gimmie goals.
Stupid defending by the Flamengo “D” created both.
The press and the fans want to hang this on keeper Bruno.
Globo Esporte wrote this story about Mengao keeper Bruno. The fans were screaming at him instead of the crappy Flamengo defense.
Primeiro surgiu o grito: “Ei, Bruno vai tomar no c…”.
These are the facts. Each on one of the Universidad de Chile goals was easy walk in goals. Mengao’s Swiss cheese “D” made keeper Bruno a sitting duck.
The headman Rogeiro Lourenço must take responsibility for Rubro-Negro’s stinky play. Mengao was not prepared to play.
Since Andrade was fired, Mengao has played like crap.
The blame for this rests squarely on the President of Flamengo’s shoulders.
UOL made this excuse for Mengao by stating the situation is complicated- A complicada situação do Flamengo na Copa Libertadores, ao perder no Maracanã por 3 a 2 para a Universidad do Chile pelas quartas de final, não deverá fazer com que o técnico Rogério Lourenço poupe a equipe no Brasileirão.
Before Rubro-Negro knew what hit them Univerisdad de Chile was up 2-0 after the 24th minute.
Adriano nailed a header in the 38th minute to cut the gap 2-1 at halftime. I thought we had a chance when we Univerisdad de Chile’s Manuel Iturra was given the heave-hoe in the 45th minute however an easy walk short handed goal by Chile’s Alvaro Fernandez in the 47th minute stuck a fork in our chances to pull our chestnuts out of the fire.
No such luck
All in all Mengao played like crap.
We deserved to lose big time.
We did.
I think it is going to be a long season for us Flamenguistas.
