Mengao takes a little trip to Minas Gerais to battle America-MG.

Flamengo is currently in seventh place.

Coelho is sitting near the butt end of the table.

America-MG is in 17^th place with five points.

Rubro-Negro is coming off a huge 4-1 win over Atletico-MG.

The guys cannot afford to take the foot off the gas pedal.

It is time for pedal to the medal.

Mengao needs to attack.

Ronaldinho Gaucho, Deivid, and Thiago Neves need to come up big.

The back four will have to come up big for Flamengo tamben.

Junior Cesar, Welinton, Ronaldo Anglim, and Leo Moura have to play air tight “D”.

The Mengao boys better not give up cheap goals.

We have done this several times this young season and it has cost us dearly.

Sure, Flamengo hasn’t lost but four ties are a bit ridiculous.

Mengao had a great chance to move up the table but no Flamengo reverted to their perfect old form. They stunk the joint out in 1-0 loss to Internacional in Porto Alegre.

I mean it looked like Rubro-Negro would draw first blood in the opening moments but in a matter of moments, Colorado counter attacked.

Internacional took off like a bat outta hell and scored on wicked long-range salvo from Taison in the 4^th minute.

Taison fired a blast that went clang off the cross bar down into the back of the net.

Lomba never had a prayer to stop this missile.

Rogeiro Lourenço made some changes in the second half but Mengao played like it was farting in the wind.

When players like Diego Mauricio, Vinicius Pacheco, Marcelo Lomba, and Ronaldo Angelim get a full years experience under their belt watch out Campeonato Mengao will kick butt.

If Rubro-Negro can sign Ronaldinho Gaucho, this might give us the push we need to challenge for the title.

Mengao decide to give the big guns the day off. Us Flamenguistas were richly rewarded with a 3-0 white wash of Friburguense.
