We’re two weeks into the season. There are a few surprises but other than that nothing much.

Chelsea has kicked ass. The Blues destroyed two really inferior sides Wigan and West Brom.

Manchester United took it Newcastle but stumbled against Fulham.

The Cottagers have a history of driving Sir Alex nuts.

Arsenal played great at home and pulled a rabbit of the Gunners hat in a miracle one all tie with Liverpool at Anfield.

My Gunners have played well so far.

Both Robin Van Persie and Cesc Fabregas are nursing injures.

Theo Walcott has stepped up big time.

Capello decided to kick Walcott off the national team.

This was a huge mistake.

Capello needs to go.

Liverpool eked a tie against my Gunners but stunk the joint out against Man City.

Liverpool is on the way down.

Sure, the Reds are missing Fernando Torres but Liverpool has plenty of other good players such as Dirk Kuyt, David Ngog, and Joe Cole.

Liverpool is near the butt end of the table.

The Reds are in 17th place with one point.

Man U killed the Magpies but Newcastle turned the tables on Aston Villa. Newcastle destroyed Villa 3-0.

Blackpool picked up their first win in the EPL in 39 years but came crashing down to earth when my guys from Arsenal rang up six goals.

Wigan is headed down.

Blackpool will probably go too.

Don’t be surprised if Liverpool hovers in the bottom half of the table.

These are my thoughts after two matches but remember this can change in an instant.

Old Trafford is the site for the clash of the Titans. Man U and Chelsea do battle on this fine Saturday.

Joe Cole nailed the winner in 20th minute to give the Blues the early 1-0 lead.

Man U came out smoking in the second half but the Red Devils could not find the back of the net.

Didier Drogba nailed the match winner in the 79th minute.

Yes Drogba was clearly off sides but the ref said no way baby.

The goal stands.

There was no quit in the Man U dog.

Federico Macheda nailed a great shot in the 81st minute to make this sucker close at 2-1.

Two-second half goals and two huge question marks. One was clearly off sides and the other a possible handball.

Chelsea has hung on to beat Man U 2-1.

Chelsea has swept the Red Devils this year.

Chelsea is now in sole possession of first place in the EPL.

Chelsea has 74 points.

Man U has 72.

The Red Devils clearly were not at full strength.

The Wayne Man was out. Without Rooney Man U stinks.

This harsh but it is the truth.

Chelsea dominated in the first half.

The Red Devils applied the pressure in the second half but they couldn’t crack the code.

Rooney was the missing link.

Dimitar Berbatov had four great scoring chances. He blew them big time.

Man U has now seven losses on the season. The mighty men of Old Trafford have two home losses.

Is this a dagger to the heart of Man U’s dreams of a four peat?

Time will tell.

There are five matches left.

Did the Champions League mid week tussle with Bayern Munich take the wind of the Red Devils sails?

Yes. Rooney went down

Ouch, that hurts.

My Gunners escaped by the hair of their chinny chin-chin when Nicholas Bendtner knocked home the winner in the dying moments (90th minute) of the match to lift Arsenal past a very scrappy Wolverhampton 1-0 at our house Emirates.

Bendtner’s goal saved our title chances.

If this baby ended in a tie, we could have kissed our title hopes bye-bye.

The shocker of the day was Sunderland taking it to Tottenham 3-1.

This was a classic ass kicking.

Before the Spurs could catch their breath, the Black Cats were up 2-nil.

Sunderland missed two gimmie PK’s by Darren Bent in the 41st and 62nd minutes.

It should have been 5-1.

But hey, this will do in a pinch for the Black Cats are hovering right around mid table.

This loss snapped Spurs five match winning streak.

Manchester City picked up a huge 6-1 win over Burnley.

Emmanuel Adebayor hit for the daily double.

My main man Carlos Tevez hit for pay dirt in the 7th minute.

Chelsea is top dog with 74 big ones.

Man U is in second place with 72 points.

Arsenal is third with 71 points.

Three points separate the top three guys with five matches to play.

The race for the final Champions League spot looks like this.

City is in fourth place with 59 points. Spurs are in fifth place with 58 points.

Both Spurs and City have played 32 games.

Liverpool is in sixth place with 54 points.

The Reds play on Sunday against Birmingham.

At the end of the day on Sunday, both City and Spurs have a game in hand.

The race is on baby.

You gotta love it.

The more things change the more they stay the same. Thank you Toby Keith for those wonderful words. Chelsea had chance to separate them from the rest of the pack but no, the Blues eked out a one all tie with bottom feeder West Ham.

Dogs rule again on this fine Sunday.

What did I tell ya?

Trust me on this stuff. God gave me a gift to see this junk very clearly.

Instead of breathing fire, the Blues played like a team on mission to tie or lose. I don’t get this. When you have a chance to stomp on a bottom feeder do it. On paper, Chelsea should won by a gazillion goals. The Blues peppered the net with twenty-four shots. Abet only four those bad boys were on goal.

Still with Drogba, Joe Cole, Kalou, and Malouda in the line up the Blues should have scored more than one goal viva the PK route. But hey maybe Chelsea is following in Man U’s footsteps.

Both the Blues and Red Devils should become masons. Both sides are good at making bricks.

Alessandro Diamanti’s PK winner in the 45th minute gave the Hammers the early 1-nil lead.

Yes, it was the correct call.

The Trumpets blared. The call to arms. The Calvary charge and Frank Lampard to the rescue. This cat has ice water in his veins. Lampard answered in the 61st. The crowd is in full throat. The shower of boos and you are a bum are shouted at him. The ball is placed on the spot. The run up. The kick. Goal. This sucker is tied at one all.

This was an iffy call by the ref.

The Hammers Mathew Upson clearly got the ball but the ref said no way baby.

Now the race for the title is tighter than a pair of 1955 Elvis Pressley jeans.

What gives here?

Chelsea, Man U, and Arsenal cannot win on the road.

The road is exactly where the 2009-10 EPL will be won.

Chelsea, Man U, and Arsenal have a combined 14 wins, 10 losses, and 3 draws.

This stinks.

Chelsea is the top dog with 41 points. Man U is in second place with 37 points. Arsenal is third with 36 points. Villa is in fourth place 36 points but Chelsea has a better goal difference. The Gunners are a plus 13 while Aston Villa is a plus 8.

Talk about dogfight?

This took place in the 2009 FIFA World Club Championship

Argentinean side Estudiantes had super power Barcelona on the ropes but Catalans came up with a brilliant goal by Pedro in the 88th minute to level this sucker up at one all to send this baby in extra time.

Midnight struck twelve for Cinderella Estudiantes when Lionel Messi’s strike ripped the back of net in 110th minute to send Barca to the Promised Land.

Barcelona came from behind to beat Estudiantes 2-1.

Estudiantes struck first. Mauro Boselli ripped the twines in the 37th minute for a 1-0 lead.

Estudiantes should have won.

Instead of taking it to Barca, the Los Pincharratas sat back and let the Catalans control the ball in the second half.

The prevent “D” kept Estudiantes from winning.

I don’t get this. If you have a lead on a great team, you can’t let them have possession of the ball 90% of the time.

All it takes is one mistake. Bam. Kiss this baby bye-bye. And this is exactly what happened

Barca has Messi, Danny Alves, Xavi, and Pedro and these players can find a way to score.

Pedro did.

Messi did.

Game, set, and match to Barca.

Estudiantes gave Barcelona all they could handle and then some.

A great come from behind win for the Catalans.

Now Barca can put to rest they can’t win the big one.

Barca did.
