Sir Alex and the boys are on to the semifinals of the Champions League.  Man U doubled up Chelsea 2-1. It was 3-1 on aggregate but the mighty boys from Old Trafford were never in danger when a late strike by Didier Drogba in the 77^th minute made interesting. However the Park Ji-Sung goal a few seconds later in the 77^th minute put this sucker outta reach.

Once again, the combo of Ryan Giggs and John O’Shea set up Mexican super man Javier Hernandez in the 43^rd minute. Chicharito ripped the twines to give Man U a 1-0 lead late in the first half.

The Blues Ramirez was given his marching orders in the 70^th minute to give Sir Alex and the chargers a huge advantage.

Game, set, and match to Man U.

The dirty cheaters from Barca lost to Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0.

However lets get real Barca was never in trouble. Messi and his cheaters blew out the Ukrainian side 5-1 at Camp Nou.

The cheaters are on to the semifinals também.

Later today Tottenham battles Real Madrid at White Hart Lane and Schalke 04 takes on Internazionale on German soil.

The German side blew away the defending Champions League Title holder s 5-2 at their house in Italy.

Both Real and Schalke 04 should advance unless all hell breaks loose but don’t bet the house on it.

Manchester United was up to their old tricks again. Man U jumped out to an early 1-0 lead over Wolverhampton. Newcomer Bebe nailed a great shot that went bing, bam, boom, off the Wolves defender Mouyokolo into the back of the net in the 56^th minute.

Four minutes later (60^th) Wolverhampton’s David Jones rocket found its mark to level this puppy up at one all.

Man U scored the go ahead goal in the 70^th minute. Park took straight to the rack. Park fired a pass to mate Macheda. The ball deflects off the back of Macheda. Park is waiting for the gift and deposits into the back of the net.

I would rather be lucky than good any day of the week.

Wolves are not done.

Man U makes a beauty of a mistake thus results in a goal by Wolves Kevin Foley in the 76^th minute.

Enter Mexican superman Javier Hernandez in the 81^st minute.

Manchester United came out breathing fire. Wayne Rooney hit for the daily double in this flat out rout. The Wayne Man ripped the twines off a wicked rocket header in the 13^th minute.

His mate Gary Neville set this baby up with a deadly cross right into the teeth of AC Milan’s “D”.

Milan keeper Christian Abbiati never had a prayer to stop the shot.

Wayne Rooney once again discovered the back of the net in the 46^th minute. Nani took off like a bat outta hell down left side of the pitch. He fired perfect pass to Rooney. Rooney had an easy tap in goal.

Abbiati was hung out to dry.

Paul Scholes was outside the box. The crowd cried out “Shoot.” Scholes faked a shot and then passed to Ji-Sung Park. Ac Milan’s “D” fell for the deception. Park slides a shot from a tight angle into the net in the 59^th minute.

Stick a fork in AC Milan.

It is 3-nil Man U.

This baby is over. Darren Fletcher nailed a perfect bounce header past the keeper. Fletcher put it dead center of the goal in the 88^th minute.

Rafael made a brilliant long pass into the left side of the box.

This was a total butt kicking administered by Man U on AC Milan.

The key to the match was Wayne Rooney.

With Rooney in the lineup, Man U is deadly.

Without him, they stink big time.

Real Madrid everyone’s favorite to win the Champions League was knocked out by Lyon on aggregate 2-1.

Lyon and Real Madrid tied one at Real’s house.

So much for the fake Ronaldo taking Real Madrid to the Promise Land.

I am glad.

Cristiano Ronaldo is great in the regular season but when it is a Championship match, he disappears.
