The Copa America continues play on Monday July 4th. Mexico will battle Chile.
Uruguay battles Peru.
This will be Mexico’s first major testing outside of their comfort zone.
Mexico has an emerging super star Javier Hernandez.
Chicharito has taken the EPL and now CONCACAF by storm. Let’s see how this cat will perform on a bigger stage against some of the worlds best futebol clubs.
The Chileans made the 2010 World Cup.
Los Roja made it to the quarterfinals.
Peru is not a very good futebol side.
Los Blanquirroja has played in four World Cups since it’s inception in 1930.
Peru has had some success in the Copa America.
Los Blanquirroja has won the Copa America twice in 1939 and 1975.
From 1997-2007 Peru finished fourth in 1997 and in 2001, 2004, 2007 they have made it to the quarterfinals.
Uruguay won the first World Cup in 1930. In 1950 the Uruguayans defeated Brasil to win the whole enchelidda.
Uruguay finished fourth in 1954, 1970, and 2010.
In the Copa America, Uruguayans won the Copa America 14 times.
Uruguay won its last crown in 1995.
Argentina has won the 14 times and Brasil has eight titles.
Mexico was runner up twice in 1993 and 2001.
Prior to 1975 only South American countries played in the tourney.
It was called the South American Championship until it was changed to the Copa America in 1975.
Mexico, the USA, Costa Rica, Canada, and Honduras have been invited to play.
Mexico has been playing in the Copa since 1993.
The Mexicans have had some good success in Copa.

It’s going to be a hot time in the old house tonight when Mexico battles the USA for the CONCACAF crown
This epic battle will take place at the Rose Bowl on Saturday night.
Bob Bradley and his boys will have to play a lot better then have been playing.
Tim Howard needs to come up big.
The USA “D” better have an effective answer for Mexican super man Chicharito.
This cat can flat out play futebol.
Seven goals in the tourney so far for Javier Hernandez and this is why this kid is fast becoming a rising star on the international stage.
Chicharito scored 13 goals for Sir Alex and the boys.
This cat single handily won two matches for Man U.
Tim Howard knows him oh so well.
Howard is keeper for Everton.
Tim Howard was a back up keeper and started a few matches for Sir Alex.
Clint Dempsey is very familiar with Chicharito tamben.
The Clint man was the top scorer for Fulham with 12 goals.
The key to this match will be the USA “D”.
Can they boys stop the fluent attack of Mexico?
Can the Carlos Bocanerga contain Chicharito?
Will Donovan come big?
Can the USA back line stop the penetration drives by Mexico?
If we can’t it will be a long night for Tim Howard.
Howard is good but he can’t stop one on eleven all nightlong.
Freddie Adu may have a say in this.
When he came in against Panama this opened up the mid field.
This allowed Donovan to swing wide and opened up the “D”.
Clint Dempsey needs to finish his scoring chances.
The USA needs to attack and pressure Mexico.
In the end Mexico should win.
The USA is okay but we lack real team speed and the basic knowledge of the game.
What I mean is that we do not possess the ability to spread the offense out.
The world-class clubs like Man U and Real Madrid set up the ”D” with many short passes and then attack.
This is called a build up.
The USA plays too much long ball.
Bob Bradley needs to work on his clubs passing ability.
This means the pass has to be right on the money.
Think Joe Montana and Jerry Rice or Magic Johnson feeding Kareem.
Mexico 3- USA 2 will be the final score.

The United States and Mexico have a hot date in the finals of the CONCACAF tourney.
USA defeated Panama 1-0.
This was redemption time for Tim Howard and the boys.
Bob Bradley made two key moves in this match.
The first Bradley sat Landon Donovan until the late in the first half.
Actually the 45th minute.
This in turn opened up the U.S. attack.
Clint Dempsey was free to play his more nature position forward.
Dempsey didn’t have to worry about creating plays. He was thus allowed to roam and attack the box.
The second key move happened in 64th minute when Freddie Adu was inserted for Juan Audile.
With Adu pushing the ball up the right this opened up the entire pitch for Donovan and his mate Dempsey.
Adu set up the Americans only goal in the 76th minute.
The do the Freddie attacked the center of the box. Donovan was wide right.
Adu swung the ball wide to Donovan.
Buda bang, buda boom a goal for the guys and this sucker was over.
Dempsey slipped the shot past the helpless keeper.
This was a classic futebol play.
Think Man U or Barcelona.
The was only one tense moment in the match for Howard.
This came late in the match (83rd minute) when Panamanian Amilcar Henriquez Espinosa hit a nutcracker of the of shot.
Howard was able to tip the ball over the cross bar.
The difference in this baby was the USA attacked and played tight “D”.
Up next Mexico.
The Mexican side defeated Honduras 2-0.
This sucker was forced in to extra time after both clubs tied nil-nil at the end of regulation.
Chicharito scored in the 98th minute.
Jesus De Nigris found the mark in the 92nd minute.
Javier Hernandez is on a goal-scoring tear. Chicharito has seven goals.
This dude is unreal.
Watch out EPL.

I usually won’t do this but I have to. All-State Insurance Company is pure bullshit. I have had my auto insurance with this company since 1983.
I have a clean driving record. I have had one ticket in my life and that was in 1982. That’s it folks. I have had one accident in my life.
This happened in 1988.
My family moved to Oklahoma.
My insurance rate was very reasonable.
For California, it was really good.
All State now wants to increase my insurance rate to almost double to what I was paying in California.
If I were you, I would cancel your insurance with this company.
They are a bunch of liars.
I spoke with a rep and she said my rate would go up one hundred dollars.
When I went to my new agent, I saw my new bill it was well over four hundred dollars higher.
I was paying 954 a year for total car coverage.
I have carry above the minimum required by law.
These people lie.
My new agent and I are meeting on Tuesday to find a new insurance company.
All State Insurance Company is crap.
You move to a new state and you get screwed.
These people are liars.
I will never do business with these folks again.
They have pissed away a 28-year relationship.
Screw them big time.
You are not in good hands with All State.
They choke the life out of you.
You have a good driving record. You move and you get screw.
I like to get kissed while I am being fucked.
Enough of the rant.
USA takes on Panama later Saturday night.
The Panamanians have a habit of us look silly.
Tim Howard needs to be at the top of his game.
Landon Donovan and crew need to play lights out.
Mexico has played very well.
Chicharito has set the tourney on its ear with his scoring and play making ability.
Sir Alex has an eye for talent.
Javier Hernandez year in the EPL is sure paying dividends for the Mexican side.
Now if five of their players we stop snorting and shooting drugs they should have a good time.
They coach blames the dirty tests on bad meat.
How come the rest of team didn’t come up with a dirty piss test?
I know call All State Insurance and let their good hands play with you.

Sir Alex and the boys have a strangle hold on the title. Man U showed why they are one of the best futebol clubs in the world.
The mighty boys from Old Trafford defeated archrival and hated Chelsea 2-1.
First half goals by Javier Hernandez and Nemanja Vidic were all Sir Alex needed.
The Blues made it interesting when Frank Lampard found the back of the net in the 68th minute.
However, this baby was never in doubt.
Man U was in control of this sucker from the very start.
Sir Alex didn’t let his side sit back and play defensive futebol like he did last Sunday against my Gunners.
This was balls to the wall futebol.
I like this style.
Man U is now six points clear of second place Chelsea with two matches left.
All the Red Devils need to is get one point in their final two matches against either Blackburn or Blackpool.
My Gunners stunk the joint out in a 3-1 loss to Stoke City.
Arsenal looked like they were out sorts.
This means these clowns were not ready to play.
Wenger is now on the hot seat.
This makes a month of being prepared to play.
The slide began March 2nd when Arsenal lost to Barca in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal.
Arsene Wenger’s time has come.
Wenger needs to be fired.
Wolves pulled a rabbit out of their hat.
Wolverhampton defeated West Brom 2-1 to move out of the drop zone.
The you’re outta here zone looks like this.
West Ham is at the butt end of the table with 33 points.

Blackpool is in 18th place with 36 but the Seasiders a minus 22 compared with The Latics minus 23.
Wolves are one step above stink in 17th place with 37 points.
Birmingham is still not outta danger even though the Blues are in 16th place with 39 points.
Two matches are left in this glorious EPL season.
Sad days are ahead.

Sir Alex and the boys are on to the semifinals of the Champions League. Man U doubled up Chelsea 2-1. It was 3-1 on aggregate but the mighty boys from Old Trafford were never in danger when a late strike by Didier Drogba in the 77th minute made interesting. However the Park Ji-Sung goal a few seconds later in the 77th minute put this sucker outta reach.
Once again, the combo of Ryan Giggs and John O’Shea set up Mexican super man Javier Hernandez in the 43rd minute. Chicharito ripped the twines to give Man U a 1-0 lead late in the first half.
The Blues Ramirez was given his marching orders in the 70th minute to give Sir Alex and the chargers a huge advantage.
Game, set, and match to Man U.
The dirty cheaters from Barca lost to Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0.
However lets get real Barca was never in trouble. Messi and his cheaters blew out the Ukrainian side 5-1 at Camp Nou.
The cheaters are on to the semifinals também.
Later today Tottenham battles Real Madrid at White Hart Lane and Schalke 04 takes on Internazionale on German soil.
The German side blew away the defending Champions League Title holder s 5-2 at their house in Italy.
Both Real and Schalke 04 should advance unless all hell breaks loose but don’t bet the house on it.

It sure looked touch and go for Sir Alex and the boys for most of the match against Wigan but three goals in the final twenty minutes secured the Red Devils a huge 4-0 win over Wigan.
Javier Hernandez hit the daily double.
Wayne Rooney and Fabio hit the score sheet as well.
Man U led 1-0 well into the 75th minute before putting this sucker outta touch.

Wigan had at least three good scoring opportunities but couldn’t dent the back of the net.
Man U now leads my guys from Arsenal by four points.
The mighty boys from Old Trafford have 60 points.
The Gunners are in second place with 56.
Up next for the guys and Sir Alex is Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
This will be the second of three straight road matches for Man U.

Sir Alex and the boys defeated Southampton 2-1.
Michael Owen and Javier Hernandez scored in the 65th and 75th minutes respectively to send Man U into the fifth round.
Sir Alex and his boys rested most of their regulars. Berbatov, Rooney, Edwin Van der Sar, Rio Ferdinand, and Vidac did not suit up.
The subs saved the day for Man U.
Sir Alex had this to say after the match- Sometimes we make it difficult for ourselves but, in fairness, I maybe meddled with the system somewhat this afternoon,” he told MUTV. “We tried a diamond in the middle of the pitch and, of course, Manchester United are used to playing with width all the time and I think that was a problem for us.
“It wasn’t working at all. We had some possession of the ball but we never really threatened. We had two or three shots from the edge of the box. It was a nothing first half, really, and the goal, if anything, made us play. (Southampton) scoring the goal right on half-time motivated us a bit to do better.’

The Reds advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time.
Crawley Town is non-league side.
They are one step above stink.
Way to go garoto.
Steve Evans the Reds boss said this- We expected to come here and win. We said it and we have done it. Arguably if we go and practise penalties tomorrow we might score the next one. I think if the first one goes in then I think we may have won here rather comfortably this afternoon.
“It’s fantastic for the owners that we are through to the last 16 for the first time. Obviously by progressing in the FA Cup we might encounter some fixture congestion ahead – and now we might do some transfer business before the window closes that wasn’t planned. I think you have to give us a lot of credit for the way we played today.”

Manchester United was up to their old tricks again. Man U jumped out to an early 1-0 lead over Wolverhampton. Newcomer Bebe nailed a great shot that went bing, bam, boom, off the Wolves defender Mouyokolo into the back of the net in the 56th minute.
Four minutes later (60th) Wolverhampton’s David Jones rocket found its mark to level this puppy up at one all.
Man U scored the go ahead goal in the 70th minute. Park took straight to the rack. Park fired a pass to mate Macheda. The ball deflects off the back of Macheda. Park is waiting for the gift and deposits into the back of the net.
I would rather be lucky than good any day of the week.
Wolves are not done.
Man U makes a beauty of a mistake thus results in a goal by Wolves Kevin Foley in the 76th minute.
Enter Mexican superman Javier Hernandez in the 81st minute.
Chicharito strikes a close range winner in the 89th minute.
Hernandez and Gibson did a great give and go in the box to set this puppy up.
Game, set, and match to Man U.
It’s on to the next round of the Carling Cup.
The mighty Red Devils are still up to their old tricks giving up leads. This is a very bad trait and will bite them in the butt. It has with ties but a loss is still in the cards.

This was a big win for Spurs.
