The Brasileiros sides stunk the joint out big time in Group play of the Copa Libertadores.

Fluminense was shut out 2-0 by Uruguayan side Nacional. With the loss, Flu is dead last in Group 3.

Internacional lost to Mexican side Chiapas 1-0. The good news is this Colorado is still top dog in Group 6.

This was defending Copa champ Internacional’s first loss in the competition.

Santos picked up a huge 3-2 win over Colo Colo.

Neymar led the way for Peixe for a strike in the 51^st minute.

Santos jumped out a huge 3-0 lead before giving up two late goals.

Peixe is in third place in Group 5.

There are two matches left and Santos needs to win both of these suckers if Peixe wants to move outta group play.

Cerro Porto is top dog with eight points.

Colo Colo is in second place with six points.

Jeez, this baby is close.

If I were a beating man, who I am not, Internacional and Cruzeiro should move on.

Both Santos and Gremio have a chance but we will see what happens.

Fluminense gave up a late goal to Mexican side America. Flu lost 1-0 on the road at Azteca Stadium and now is in danger of not making it out of Group play in the Copa Libertadores.

Daniel Marquez Palacios nailed the match winner in the 75^th minute.

Flu currently is in third place after three matches.

This is only the start so anything can happen.

Flu is the club that is in the most danger so far with three matches remaining.

Internacional is the defending 2010 Copa Champion and Colorado became the first South American side not to make to the FIFA World Club Championship finals.

These are huge mid week matches in the Campeonato.

Finally Mengao is scoring goals but Flamengo is giving them up by the boatload.

The offense is coming around but the “D’ needs to be strengthened.

On Saturday Santos defeated Atletico-Paranaense 2-0.

Vasco tied with Gremio three all.

Sao Paulo defeated Gremio- Barueri 3-2.

Mengao snatched a tie from the jaws of defeat. Petkovic scored in the 86^th minute to save Flamengo’s bacon.

Douglas opened the scoring for Gremio. He beat the entire Mengao “D” to the box. Douglas junked right and went left. He flat out beat the keeper Marcelo Lomba in the 9^th minute.

This insane futebol schedule has to stop.

Too many players are getting hurt.

Some of these injuries could be career ending.

The body needs to rest.

FIFA please wake the blank up and stop forcing players to play upwards of 150 matches a year without a break.

Players you need to form a union to stop this BS.

The latest example is England’s Michael Dawson blew out his knee in the 56^th minute.

This injury could be career ending.

Dawson plays for Spurs.

Please stop this insanity.

Pele had a long and great career but Pele didn’t play year in and year out 24-7 three hundred and sixty days a year futebol.

Pele took at least three months off to rest.

Futebol needs a players union to protect them from the evil FIFA idiots who have set up this insane futebol schedule.

Let someone with a lick of sense give the players at least three months off too rest.

Timao is the real deal.

Corinthians Iarley hit for the daily double.

Botafogo jumped out to an early 2-0 lead before Gremio came back to score two second half goals to tie this sucker up at two all.

This was a huge loss of two points for Fogao.

Vasco defeated Ceara 2-0.

Corinthians is now one point behind league leader Fluminense.

Flu has 38 points while Timao has 37.

Botafogo had a chance to cut the gap to five points instead Fogao now has 31 points.

Fluminense and Corinthians each have a game in hand.

Vasco now has 26 points.

I am not saying this is a must win situation however Flamengo must play a lot better if they want to compete for the title.

Mengao again wasted a great opportunity to pick up a huge win at Maracanã against Gremio but in the end Flamengo ended up with a one all tie.

This is not good.

This gives Rubro-Negro one win, one loss, and three ties.

Mengao can not win at home nor on the road.

This stinks.
