Finally, that waste of a striker Dimitar Berbatov did what he was paid to do. Score goals. Berbatov hit the hat trick to lead Man U past a stubborn Liverpool squad.
The Red Devils defeated the Reds 3-2.
This was a huge win for the mighty boys from Old Trafford.
A tie or a loss could have stuck a fork in Man U’s title hopes.
Man U was up to their old tricks again.
The Red Devils jumped to 2-0 lead before Steven Gerrard nailed a PK in the 64th minute and then added a deft strike in the 70th minute to level this sucker at two all.
Enter Dimitar Berbatov in the 84th minute to save the day for Man U.
This is a very disturbing trend for Sir Alex and his boys.
The Red Devils have squandered three leads against Everton, Fulham, and Liverpool.
This baby almost bit them in the butt.
The last time Liverpool won the EPL was 1990.
The Reds are retooling.
This rebuilding effort may last for a while.
If Man U can get Wayne Rooney on track, the Red Devils will be a top-flight club instead of very good.
Man City picked a huge win 2-0 against Wigan.
The Lactics are in the shits.
Carlos Tevez and Yaya Toure ripped the twines for City.
Chelsea took care of business at Home-Stamford Bridge.
The Blues destroyed Blackpool 4-0.
Florent Malouda hit for the daily double.
Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou tickled the twines too.

This was Blackpool’s first loss of the season.

My guys from Arsenal are in the second spot with 11 points.
Manchester United is third with 11 but my Gunners have a plus 10 compared with the Red Devils plus seven goal difference.

Chelsea kicked ass in their 6-nil win over newly promoted West Brom.
So, what else is new?
Nada.
This result was entirely expected.
West Brom hung in there in the first half.
The Baggies were only down 2-0 at half before the floodgates opened in the second half.
Didier Drogba hit for the hat trick.
Mate Florent Malouda nailed the daily double.
Frank Lampard added a marker as well in this blow out city win.
Tottenham and Man City fought to a nil-nil draw.
Spurs had the best of it but Tottenham couldn’t crack the code.
This tie could cost them in the long run.
Newly promoted Blackpool pulled the upset special.
The Seasiders shut out Wigan 4-0.
Blackpool last played in the EPL 39 years ago.
1971 was the exact year.
Congrats, to the Seasiders in their first EPL win in many a moon.
Blackburn Rovers defeated Everton 1-0.
Tim Howard’s gaffe in the 14th minute gave the Rovers their needed margin of victory.
Howard came off his line. Instead of grabbing the ball, he knocked the ball to Blackburn’s Nikola Kalinic who deposited the gift into the back of the net.
Game, set, and match to the Rovers.
How much did Howard’s playing in the USA friendly against Brasil on Wednesday hurt him?

The Hammers may have saved their season. Yes, sir re Bob West Ham came away with a huge 1-0 win over Sunderland.
Brasilian striker Aruajo Ilan ripped the twines in the 51st minute for the only tally of the match.
Ilan was inserted into the lineup last week against Everton. His goal earned the Hammers a much needed one all tie with the Toffees.
That goal earned Ilan a staring role. He responded with the match winner.
The win lifted the Hammers into 16th place with 31 points.
Burnley ripped Hull City 4-1.
The win enabled the Clarets to pull even with the Tigers.
Both sides have 27 points apiece.
Hull City opened up the match with a nifty goal by Kevin Kilbane in the 3rd minute.
The Clarets responded by scoring the next four goals to win going away 4-1.
Burnley’s Graham Alexander hit for the daily double via the PK route in the 65th and 70th minute.
Even though the Tigers lost, they have a game in hand. This game in hand will surely come into play.
So, what else is new. Chelsea ripped Aston Villa 3-0 in semifinals of the FA Cup.
Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda, and Frank Lampard rammed the twines to lead the Blues in the massacre of Villa.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
Chelsea will have an FA Cup Finals date with either Tottenham or Portsmouth. The Spurs and Pompey will play on Sunday.
The bad news for Portsmouth is this. Pompey was given their walking papers from the EPL.
