Chelsea, the defending FA Cup holders, is voce vai.
Man U escapes with 1-0 win over non-league Crawley Town.
This is what the FA Cup is all about.
The FA Cup is oldest Cup competition in the world.
It began in 1871.
Man U has won the most titles 11 in the 140 history of the FA Cup.
Wes Brown’s header off a corner kick by mate Darren Gibson in the 28th minute sealed Crawley Town’s fate.
Sir Alex and the boys are into the FA Cup quarterfinals.
Everton beat Chelsea 4-3 on PK kicks in the fourth round to advance to the fifth round.
Chelsea has bombed out in the FA Cup and Carling Cup and are about to flame out in the EPL title race after a great start to the season.
Are the Blues too old?
I will bet dollars to holes in the donuts this is the case.
Fernando Torres maybe a welcomed addition but so far Chelsea is stinking the joint out.
Birmingham defeated Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 to move on to the quarterfinals.
Stoke beat Brighton 3-0 to advance também.
The cool thing about the FA Cup is this.
It gives the smaller guys a chance to win a big time title.
Non-league Crawley Town gave Man U all they could handle before losing.
The last non-EPL side to win the title was Wimbledon in 1987-88.
Wimbledon is now defunct.
The Dons are now called Milton Keynes.

The idiocy is back again. It is time for International friendly matches. What a bunch of crap. How many players need to have their careers ruin before this BS stops.
This will only stop when the world’s players stand up and form as union.
I know this all about national pride, picking players for the next World Cup and all of that but please enough is enough.
The World Cup is almost three years away.
Give it a rest.
Let the players Rooney, Robin van Persie, Robinho, and the rest get a real break.
This constant playing 24-7 365 days a year will kill a player.
Look all the injuries over the past years players like Rooney, RVP, Fernando Torres have had.
THIS HAS TO STOP.
It is time to form a players union.
Use as a model The NFL or MLB players union.
These are my thoughts on this cold wintry snowy day.
It is cold folks.
Try a minus 19 with blowing snow.
The basketball game I was to broadcast tonight is cancelled due to the blowing snow.
Flamenguista and Gunner for life.
This is it from The De Futebol Zone.

This is getting patiently ridiculous. My Gunners had a chance to keep pace with Man U and Chelsea instead we stunk the joint out at home losing 1-0 to newly promoted Newcastle.
Toons flat out took it to us.
Andy Carroll nailed a perfect strike in the 45th minute
Carroll had some real hops in his leap. He out leaped several Arsenal defenders to nail the header.
This kid could be the next prime time player for the English national team.
Arsenal had their chances but the woodwork saved Toons.
Yes, we had the majority of possession time but nothing came of it.
This performance by my Gunners was pure rotgut.
You might stick a fork in our chances to win the title.
It is early yet but more matches like this and we should send the team to the gallows.
Yes, Arsenal played like dung but Newcastle should be given credit for sticking a fork in the Gunners today.
Toons must have learned something in their 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Arsenal a week ago.
This is what a defeat does for a team.
You look at what went wrong and fix it.
Arsenal needs to do this big time now.
This is our second loss at home.
A team must win 95% of their matches at home and hold serve on the road to win the crown. Right now, we have four wins, two losses, and no draws. This is only 66% win percentage at home.
Not good garoto.
I am mad as hell but there is still a ton of futebol to be played.
Now do you know what I mean when I compare Arsenal to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Both teams find a way to screw up a wet dream.
Liverpool shut out Chelsea 2-0 at Anfield.
Fernando Torres hit the daily double to lead the Reds to this huge upset city win over the Blues.
Chelsea has lost two road games so far.
See what I mean by titles are won on the road.
This win may save the Reds from getting the heave-hoe as well as Roy Hodgeson hide.
Man City defeated West Brom 2-0.
Mario Balotelli hit the daily double too.

Maxi Rodriguez’s late goal lifted Liverpool to a 1-0 win over Blackburn.
This was a biggie for the Reds.
Liverpool is now outta the drop-dead zone.
For now that is.
The Reds are now in 12th place with 12 points.
Fernando Torres set this puppy up with a great back heel pass.
Rodriguez slipped it into the back of the net.
The Rovers are in deep do-do.
Blackburn was mid table in 2009-10 but now the Rovers are on the verge getting the axe.
Time will tell for Blackburn for they will stay afloat.
Aston Villa and Birmingham tied at nil-nil.
Newly promoted Toons slaughtered Sunderland 5-1.
Newcastle is hell bent on staying the Prem.
Toons are in 7th place with 14 points.
The Seasiders are hanging tough.
Blackpool is in 16th place with 10 points.
The Seasiders have a hot date at their house Blooming Field against West Brom on Monday.
This is a huge match for Blackpool.
A win would put the Seasiders in 8th place with 13 points.
Albion is in 6th place with 15 points.
West Brom is fighting to keep in touch with league leaders.
At stake for the Baggies is a spot in the Champions League and the Europa League.

EPL is back at it this weekend. Yet, the clowns at FIFA and the national federations scheduled matches in the European Championship Qualifying round. This is really dumb.
No wonder players like Wayne Rooney, Miroslav Klose, Cristiano Ronaldo, and many others. No wonder these players are gassed.
Rooney and the like have what three days to recuperate. Many will play in League matches on Saturday and Sunday.
It is time the players stand up and walk out.
Thank God, no one was hurt.
It is time for all of this insanity has to stop.
There needs to be a sane schedule.
A real players union needs to be formed.
Enough said on this.
On the Argentinos front, Estudiantes is top dog in the Apertura with 25 points. Velez Sarsfield is in second place with 20 points.
River Plate is doing better. Los Millionaires are in seventh place with 16 points.
Boca Juniors is in 11th place with 13 points.
Los Xeneizos has spilt their last six matches.
Boca has won three matches and lost three matches.
River Plate in their last six matches have won one, lost two, and tied three.
This is not good.
Once again, both River and Boca are having a hard time.
This is sad.

It is time futebol players are stopped being treated like cattle. Players are no more than meat on the hoof for club owners and international federations. These owners and managers can use players however they want to.
Sure, players are paid great wages. At least the stars and many of the good players are paid handsomely but what is the price?
The price is very high.
The average player life span in futebol is maybe five to eight years.
These men have only a few years to many lots of money before their bodies begin to break down.
Yeah, I know clubs have taken out insurance policies to protect their property.
Cool, but what about player’s rights.
These federations and clubs force players to play upwards of 90-100 matches a year.
No wonder players like Wayne Rooney, Fernando Torres, Cesc Fabregas, and Robin Van Persie are broken down by the time they are 25 years old.
It is time players form a real union and start to demand proper medical care, insurance, and a limit on how many matches they can play each year.
I know it is really important to play for your country.
I can dig it but look at this fool why have all of these stupid friendly matches right after the World Cup has just concluded.
Use your freakin head for something besides a hat rack.
This makes as much sense as a fart in church.
It is time players refuse to play in these stupid and insane matches.
Futebol players need a Curt Flood to sacrifice his career for the good of the game and the players.
Until this happens, players will continue to go down like flies.
Pele played futebol from 1956 until 1977.
He played almost all of his career in Brasil.
Pele played for Santos from 1956-1974.
He played two years with the New York Cosmos before he quit in 1977.
Now a days players play in League play, Champions League, European Championships, International friendly and preseason matches all over the world.
Players like Pele and Maradona are the exception.
It is time for futebol players grow a set of balls and take on owners and FIFA management and tell them we have had enough of this crap.
Enough said.
Gunner nation will stand forever.
Flamenguista for life.

Liverpool was teetering on the brink of disaster. Birmingham had two sure; fire goals stopped stone cold by the Reds keeper Pepe Reina.
Reina stopped two point blank by Blues Cameron Jones and Craig Gardner to preserve a nil-nil tie with Birmingham.
This baby was played at Blues house St. Andrews.
Birmingham keeper Ben Foster made a few key saves too.
Liverpool is still hanging out in the lower half of the table.
The Reds have five points on one win, two draws, and one loss.
This is not good.
Fernando Torres is still finding his stride since retuning from the IR list.
Torres had one good attempt on goal in the 12th minute. His shot was just wide.
Chelsea is top dog with 12 points.
My guys from Arsenal are in second place with 10 points.
Manchester United is third with eight points.
Blackpool is fourth with seven points.
The Blues have given up just one goal so far this young season while scoring sixteen.
But let’s remember Chelsea has played the four teams that have a combined two wins and eleven losses between West Brom, Stoke City, Wigan, and West Ham.
The Red Devils have blown two fire road wins, which resulted in two ties. If this trend continues, Man U will not win the title.
My Gunners are playing well.
We have a road win and tie.
This road tie should have been a loss but an own goal by Liverpool saved our bacon.
The Seasiders are the biggest surprise of the EPL so far.
Blackpool has not played in the EPL since 1971.
Now the Seasiders have two wins are in fourth place with seven points.
More to come later so stay tuned.

We have arrived at the first international break of the new futebol season.
This is the stupidest idea in the world to begin play in the European Championships.
No wonder the world’s top players are breaking down all the time.
Rooney is broken. Robin Van Persie is coming off an injury. Fernando Torres is a wreck.
Why?
The world’s best players are playing 24-7 futebol.
The human body can only take so much wear and tear before it breaks down.
This is what is happening.
The best players in the world are coming off a domestic league schedule and then pile on top of that World Cup play.
Jeez, give me a break will ya.
FIFA needs their heads examined.
Give the players a break will ya.
The life of the world-class player now is what? Maybe ten years before the good old bod goes south.
Rooney can’t find the barn because he’s been playing non-stop since 2008.
Torres, Robin Van Persie, Cesc Fabregas, and the rest might make it until they are in their thirties before they are force to quit to due to injuries.
FIFA wake up and change this now.
You are ruining players and the game.
Enough is enough.
Maybe it is time to form a players union to stop this bullshit.
These are my thoughts during a break in the play in the EPL.
Players unite and form a union to stop the goons at FIFA from killing you.
De Futebol
Three matches into the EPL season and now we have our first international break. The action resumes September 12th after a two week break.
On Sunday, Liverpool finally picked up a 1-0 win over West Brom.
Super striker for the Reds Fernando Torres scored the only match of the goal in the 65th minute.
Torres is still not a 100%. He has had two major knee operations plus a pulled hammy in Spain’s World Cup final match in July.
His score showed how great this player is. Torres shifed ball the ball and fired the volley into the back of the net.
Game, set, and match to Liverpool.
This was a huge three points for the Reds.
Aston Villa defeated Everton 1-0.
In the battle of American keepers Tim Howard and Brad Friedel, Friedel had the best of it.
Tim Howard made two lights out saves but this was not enough to over come crappy defense by the Toffees.
The score of the match came in the 9th minute.
Luke Young received a great pass from mate Ashley Young. Luke Young fired home the winner past a helpless Tim Howard.
Toffees defender Marouane Fellaini let the ball slip under his feet. Whamo, bamo turnover. Goal for Villa.
Not good Garoto.
Everton now has two losses and tie to start the season.
This could spell doom for the Toffees.
Villa on the other hand has won two out of their first three matches.
Bolton and Birmingham tied at two all.
Sunderland pulled the upset special of the day beating Manchester City 1-0.
After blowing out Liverpool, what happened?
Lose to lowly Sunderland.
Way to go Garoto.
I love it.
Sybil City is your new name.
A PK in the dying moments cost man City big time.
Choke City baby.
City’s Micah Richards decided to play American Football and tackle the Black Cats Darren Bent.
You dummy.
I love it.
We’ll talk more about this in the next few days.

We’re two weeks into the season. There are a few surprises but other than that nothing much.
Chelsea has kicked ass. The Blues destroyed two really inferior sides Wigan and West Brom.
Manchester United took it Newcastle but stumbled against Fulham.
The Cottagers have a history of driving Sir Alex nuts.
Arsenal played great at home and pulled a rabbit of the Gunners hat in a miracle one all tie with Liverpool at Anfield.
My Gunners have played well so far.
Both Robin Van Persie and Cesc Fabregas are nursing injures.
Theo Walcott has stepped up big time.
Capello decided to kick Walcott off the national team.
This was a huge mistake.
Capello needs to go.
Liverpool eked a tie against my Gunners but stunk the joint out against Man City.
Liverpool is on the way down.
Sure, the Reds are missing Fernando Torres but Liverpool has plenty of other good players such as Dirk Kuyt, David Ngog, and Joe Cole.
Liverpool is near the butt end of the table.
The Reds are in 17th place with one point.
Man U killed the Magpies but Newcastle turned the tables on Aston Villa. Newcastle destroyed Villa 3-0.
Blackpool picked up their first win in the EPL in 39 years but came crashing down to earth when my guys from Arsenal rang up six goals.
Wigan is headed down.
Blackpool will probably go too.
Don’t be surprised if Liverpool hovers in the bottom half of the table.
These are my thoughts after two matches but remember this can change in an instant.
