Arsenal picked up a huge road win in the Champions League Group stage.
My Gunners took it to Partizan Belgrade.
We won 3-1.
Andrei Arshavin opened up the scoring for the Gunners in the 15th minute.
Low and behold, we gave it right back to them in the 33rd minute.
Dummy Denilson used his arm to knock down the ball in the box.
Cleo nailed the PK in the level this baby at one all.
Arshavin had a chance to give the Gunners a 2-1 lead but choke city.
Marouane Chamakh put the ball into the back of the net in the 71st minute.
This gave us a 2-1 lead.
Sebastien Squillaci header found the mark in the 82nd minute.
Cleo had a chance to cut the lead but keeper Fabianski made a fly save to em dead in their tracks.
Game, set, and match to Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger had this to say about his hard luck and heartbreak of a keeper
Fabianski- quotes from www.arsenal.com
Fabianski had a good game, we have seen the player tonight who we see in training. He had a faultless game. I know it is in him. He got it out in the game tonight and hopefully that will give him the needed belief and confidence. I am confident he will come out as a great keeper, I have always said that. We have to keep confidence in him and he needs to gain experience from games like this. At the moment Almunia is injured, we will have to see how his injury goes but at the moment it is too early to say.
Wenger was worried about the guys bouncing back after a hard defeat at home agianst West Brom- For us it was important to win straight away after a big disappointment against West Brom. It puts us in a good position confidence wise. Sunday is a big, big game for us. I believe we will go there with a desire to do extremely well.
This win should get us ready for Chelsea this Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
This bay is huge.
Chelsea took care of business at Home-Stamford Bridge.
The Blues shut out Marseille 2-0.
Today this Gunner is happy and so is the entire Gunner nation.

The EPL is a little more than one week away.
I can’t wait.
Yes, we had the World Cup and my beloved Campeonato do Brasil but without the EPL on Saturday and Sunday, I am a lost puppy.
Are you ready for some Futebol?
Yes, I can’t wait.
Kickoff is set for August 14th.
There are some huge opening round matches.
My guys from Arsenal battle Liverpool at Anfield.
This is a huge opening bell tilt.
The Reds are coming off a disappointing 2009-2010 campaign.
In plain terms, Liverpool stunk.
They played like crap.
The Reds finished in seventh place.
The fat Spanish waiter is gone but I don’t know if this will help Liverpool.
Fernando Torres will probably miss the first half of the season.
Let’s see if Roy Hodgson can change the Reds fortunes.
The Gunners are itching to get back at it.
Arsenal has several young guns ready to prove themselves. Jack Wilshere, Samir Nasri, Aaron Ramsey, and Theo Walcott all have to finally live up to the high expectations placed on them by Wenger and us fans.
Robin Van Persie and Cesc Fabregas should be raring to go after being injured for most of the 2009-2010 campaign.
The weak link in the scheme is the keeper.
I think both Almunia and Fabianski are both two clowns who should be shot at dusk for stupid goal tending.
These guys suck big time.
Let the games begin.
Speaking of games, Internacional and Sao Paulo play their second leg of the Copa Libertadores semifinal in Sao Paulo at Mouribi.
Tricolor needs to win by at least one goal.
Colorado won the first round 1-0 in Porto Alegre.
Both of sides hate each other.
This should be a wild one.

We have some huge fixtures on Saturday and Sunday in the EPL. Manchester United and Everton battle each other in Everton’s house Elwood Park.
The Red Devils are a scant one point behind league leaders Chelsea. Rooney and the guys need to come out breathing fire. In Man U’s last five road games, they have two wins, two draws, and one loss.
Man U has struggled on the road. The Red Devils are coming off a road tie with Aston Villa. This road match will be a key test to see if the Red Devils can become the first EPL team to get a four peat.
Rooney, Berbatov, and Anderson need to attack and create a ton of scoring chances. Rio Ferdinand and Nani will not play due to suspensions.
Without Rio and Nani Man U could pull a Keystone Cops routine on the defensive end of the pitch
With Giggs out due to a broken forearm this will hurt Man U a lot. How much? This depends on Berbatov.
The Toffees will be missing one of their key players too. Midfielder Tim Cahill will be out at least three weeks with a pulled calf muscle.
We have a huge match against Sunderland at Emirates on Saturday. Let’s hope we put the fiasco of what happened in Portugal behind us.
I hope someone slapped Fabianski upside the head for his stupid and dumb play in net against Porto on Wednesday.
This bum Fabianski needs to wake up and make sure he doesn’t play stupid in goal if Arsenal is forced to use this clown in goal if Almunia is not ready to go.
Both Diaby and Gallas will be out. This is going to kill us but I am sure the return of Alex Song will help.
God please don’t let us pull another Rocky Horror Picture Show at home.
The Gunners need to take care of business at home.
Arsenal needs to take names and kick butt.
Fabregas and the guys need to torch the twines.
Chelsea has a road trip to Wolverhampton. Chelsea has a habit of losing on the road. The Blues are coming off a huge road loss to Everton. Wolves are not that good. In plain English, they stink big time.
Let’s hope the Blues have a brain fart and lose big time.
Over the past few weeks, the big boys have stubbed their toes big time on the road.
The EPL winner will have the best road record.
Chelsea is 6-3-4 on the road. Man U is 7-2-4. Arsenal is 6-3-4.
Last year Chelsea, Man U, and Arsenal had a combined nine total road losses. Right now, they have a combined twelve losses with 12 matches left in the season.
They key is hold serve at home and win at least 55 to 60% of your road matches.
When the dust settles the EPL title race will come more into focus.

What a way to start off the match between Arsenal and Porto. Disaster right from the outset almost killed us.
Give me a heart attack why don’t you Arsenal.
Porto drew first blood in one of the dumbest plays I have ever seen. Gunners keeper Lukasz Fabianski should be shot and quartered for giving up such a cheap goal. Porto sniper Varala fired one of the easiest balls to defend. Jeez, my grandmother could have stopped that shot. She has been dead since 1976.
No, Fabianski lets the ball roll right off his hands and into the back of the next. El dumbo dude. At the 11th minute Porto is up 1-0.
I don’t how this goal will be recorded. It could be an own goal by Fabianski or a goal for Varala. We will find out later. However, you score it Fabianski needs his head and hands examined.
I thought here we go again. Not so, fast bucko. Arsenal gets a reprieve.
Fabregas fired a great corner kick near the left post. Rosicky was camped near the right post. The ball went through the goal crease off a deflection. Rosicky one timed the header pass to mate Sol Campbell. Buda Bing. Buda boom. Campbell used his noggin to ram this sucker into the back of the net in the 18th minute.
We are tied at one all.
Thank God for small favors.
We are at half. It is one all.
Arsene Wenger needs to crawl up Fabianski’s butt and tear him a new one for letting in such a cheap goal.
The guys didn’t quit. We fought back to get the equalizer.
This is huge.
This shows what we are made of.
Arsenal has done it again. Another stupid play by the Gunners has given Porto a 2-1 lead in the 51st minute. Sol Campbell makes a back pass to keeper Fabianski. This is a no-no. Fabianski flips on the ground. Fabianski turns his back on the play. Porto quickly takes the free kick. Radamel Falco slips the ball into the back of the open net.
Sol Campbell and Fabianski need to shot at dusk for dumb play.
Now do you see what I mean when I say Arsenal is like my loveable Philadelphia Eagles. We find a way to screw up a wet dream.
Way to snatch defeat from jaws of victory guys.
The pain is finally over. Porto wins 2-1 over Arsenal.
It could be worse. It could have been 3-0 or 3-1.
The good news is that we scored the all-important away goal.
The bad news is this. We really need to work on the comedy of errors we committed on the defensive end of the pitch.
The Gunners made the Keystone Cops look a ballet company.
The Gunners Rocky Horror Picture Show will continue at Emirates in two weeks.
Let’s hope we can put the screws down on the defense.
Two goals are all we need and it is on to the quarterfinals.
Please what ever you do don’t, and I repeat don’t give up a goal at home.
I know, as soon as I say it will happen.
