Why don’t we just shoot ourselves in the head. It would be much easier than living through this crap year in and year out. Arsenal had it all going for them in the first half.
My Gunners started off great. The guys scored on a great header by Laurent Koscielny in the 21st minute.
Gervinho set up this puppy. He fired a great ball into the box. Ramsey gets a foot on the ball. It rattles around in the box until Koscielny puts it away.
We were in control however in the second half Arsenal sat back and did nothing. The Cottagers tilted the field in their favour. Fulham kept up the pressure. A dumbo play by Djourou just outside the box in the 77th minute shifted this match to Fulham’s favor. His second yellow card bye-bye moron.
The Cottagers attacked and attacked until Sidwell knocked home the equalizer in the 85th minute.
Bobby Zamora nails the match winner in the 92nd minute.
Game, set, and match to Fulham.
We stunk the joint out big time.
My Gunners are now in fifth place.
We had the match in hand.

My guys from Arsenal got a little help from bottom feeder Blackburn. The Rovers pulled upset city over Man U at Old Trafford.
Blackburn beat Sir Alex and the Boys 3-2.
The Red Devils fell behind 2-0 before Dimitar Berbatov hit the daily lotto to tie this sucker up at two all.
It sure looked like Man U would come away with the win.
But stupid defending by David De Gea opened up Pandora’s box.
De Gea failed to clear the ball out and this allowed an open net shot by Grant Hanley in the 80th minute.
This Keystone Cops Routine sealed Man U’s doom.
Thus giving Blackburn a 3-2 win.
What did I tell ya?
Anything can happen during the Christmas-New Years string of matches.
This loss killed Sir Alex Ferguson’s 70th birthday.

On Saturday New Years Eve Man U will battle whale dung Blackburn.
The Rovers suck.
Man U is tied on points with their cross-town rivals City. The Red Devils and the Citizens each have 45 points.
Neither Sir Alex and the Boys and their noisy neighbors City can afford to drop points during this insane stretch.
City is a plus 38.
Man U is a plus 33.
My guys from Arsenal have a hot date with Queens Park Rangers.
We can’t afford to have another one of those brain farts at home like we did against Wolves on Tuesday.
There is still a good chance that my Gunners can and will make a run for the EPL crown.

The guys are back on Friday when Newcastle takes on Liverpool at Anfield.
This sprint will last until Wednesday January 4th.
Luis Suarez will have to sit out the Toons-Liverpool puppy on Friday.
Suarez’s gesture to the Fulham fans cost this idiot big time. He was fined twenty grand for the Romanian peace symbol.

Once again my guys found a way to screw it up. Instead winning the schmucks tied with lowly Wolves one all. To make matters worse the Wolverhampton Wanderers were down a man and still managed to escape with a tie.
This sucks big time.
Gervinho started the Gunners off on the right foot with a smashing goal in the 8th minute.
Wolves tied this baby up in the 38th minute.
Steven Fletcher nailed the header and this was all she wrote.
Instead of forcing our way into the top four the guys are buried in 5th place with 33 points.
Wenger said this about the tie- ”It was the kind of day where maybe we were not relaxed enough, maybe we wanted it so much, that we were a bit too in the ‘wanting zone’ and not enough in just the ‘technical zone’,” the Arsenal boss said. ”There are going to be a lot of twists and turns.
”When you have the luck of the results yesterday and you play today, you can take advantage of it, that is where the worrying thing is because in the season you have to take your opportunities.”
He then added -”We just have to keep going and take the positives out of the game. It is frustrating, but I am more frustrated by the result than the performance and the spirit. You cannot fault the attitude or the commitment or the desire to win the game.”
Here is the link- http://soccernet.espn.go.com/quotes?id=317982&cc=5901
In plain speak we blew it big time at home.
This loss could have cost us a shot at the title.
Spurs took care of business.
Tottenham defeated Norwich 2-0.
The win kept Spurs locked in third place with 38 points.
They have a game in hand.
Gareth Bale’s daily double was the difference in the match.
This was a huge road win for Tottenham.
Spurs are seven points behind the leaders City and Man U who each have 45 points.
Harry “Me Boy” Redknapp said about the “W”- ”It was a good result. When you are up there you cannot afford not to. You’ve got to keep picking up results.”
What about title talk Harry? ”If there’s one game to go and we’re sitting with a chance to win the league. Man Utd and Man City look so strong, I wouldn’t like to pick up a winner out of those two. We’d like to get back in the Champions League and that won’t be easy.”

This is a goal difference of five.
The race is on baby.
Dimitar Berbatov led the hit parade with a hat trick.
Park Ji Sung and Antonio Valencia found the back of the net in this whitewash of the Latics.
Since the guys had their butts kicked by City and were sent packing out of the Champions League in the Group state Sir Alex and the guy’s have ratcheted up their game to a new level.
Watch out EPL Man U is finding their championship form.
Chelsea had a chance to move up the table but a goal by American Clint Dempsey in the 56th minute kept the Blues in fourth place with a one all tie with Fulham.
The crack in Chelsea’s armor is showing big time.

Toons defeated Bolton 2-0.
My guys from Arsenal have leapfrogged into fourth place with a win over Wolves later today.
My Gunners are 5th with 32 points.
Chelsea is in fourth place with 34 points.
A win by the guys would cut the gap between the leader board and us to ten points.
This is a must win the Wenger and the boys.
Wenger said this about Robin Van Persie’s shot at breaking Alan Shearer’s record of 36 goals in a calendar year- quotes taken from www.arsenal.com “It will be a big demand for Robin,” admitted the manager. “I don’t know yet what I will do. We will assess the situation after every game.
“I don’t want to stop him. I will be very happy if he does it but he needs to combine the record with staying fit.”
