My guys from Arsenal found a new way to screw it up. Robin Van Persie scored in the 5th minute to give us a 1-0 lead.  I thought great we have the lead this sucker is in the bag. Not on this day.

The Swans answered with the equalizer in the 16th minute. Scott Sinclair nailed the PK.

This PK came about when Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey made the slightest of touches on the Swans Nathan Dyer.

Swansea City took a 2-1 lead in the 57th minute.

Nathan Dyer stroked home a winner.

My guys tied this puppy up in the 69th minute.

Theo Walcott whipped home the winner to make two all.

One minute later, 70th minute, the Swans knocked home the match winner.

Danny Graham slotted home a goal to kill my Gunners.

The final score 3-2 Swansea City.

This loss is a killer. Instead of moving up the table we stayed put in fifth place with 36 points.

The guys are now twelve points behind City and the Red Devils.

This is another one of those blow your brains out moments for us Gunner fans. We have a habit of screwing up a wet dream.

Is the season lost?

No but we are falling farther behind the leader board.

This is not good garoto.

The Swans jumped to tenth place with 21 points.

Newcastle beat Queens Park Rangers 1-0.

Toons are in sixth place with 36 points but are a plus five compared with my guys plus seven.

The Hoops are buried 18th place with 17 points.

QPR is tied on points with Blackburn but the Rovers are a minus 12 compared with the Hoops minus 17.

Wigan is whale dung with 15 points.

The Wig guys battle Man City later today.

It will take a major miracle for Wigan to beat City.

Man U took care of business at Old Trafford. The Red Devils were superior on this day winning in a cakewalk 3-0 over Bolton. The Wanderers sink big time.

Bolton is on the verge of being sent packing if they continue paying this way.

Paul Scholes led the way scoring his first goal in almost two years.  This historic event happened in the 45th minute.

The Rooney man missed a PK in the 22nd minute.

Danny Welbeck and Michael Carrick added goals for Sir Alex and the boys.

Sir Alex said this about the refs– “We should have been playing against 10 men.’

“But these inconsistencies are confusing to everyone.

“Referees have to be given direction about what are the laws of the game and what should be permitted in terms of tackles.

“(Referees’ chief) Mike Riley has to be given the rope to say this is not allowed, two-footed tackles are not acceptable, whether you take the ball or not.

“If he does that it would clarify the situation for all players, the referees and the fans.”

Danny Welbeck was injured in the match. Sir Alex said it was a twisted knee but he’ll be ready for my guys from Arsenal.

Chelsea held home serve. The Blues escaped with a 1-0 win over Sunderland.

Spurs had a chance to keep pace with Man U but Tottenham tied Wolves one all.

Wolverhampton scored the opening salvo in the 22nd minute a strike by Steven Fletcher.

Spurs found the answer in the 51st minute when Luka Modric ripped the twines to level this sucker at one all.

This is the way this puppy stayed.

Harry “Me Boy” Redknapp said about the tie. – “You know they are going to be difficult. When you turn up here on a Saturday afternoon you know you are in for a tough game. Teams are going to drop points against these teams, they are all working hard and fighting for survival. If you look at the results over the holiday period it shows how difficult it is. We all get disappointed when we don’t win. But they are not just going to roll over. A point’s a point. We’re still on a great run. One wouldn’t quite drop for us and they defended for their lives, worked hard and pressed us, closed us down and made it difficult.”

Spurs dominated the match but couldn’t push across the winner.

Liverpool and Stoke tied one all.

This tie cost the Reds big time. This could have cost Liverpool a shot at a top three finish.

Blackburn beat Fulham 3-1.

Aston Villa and Everton tied one all.

Norwich beat West Brom 2-1.

Man City and Man U are tied with 48 points but the Citizens won’t play until Monday.

Spurs are third with 46 points.

Chelsea is fourth with 40.

My Gunners are fifth with 36.

We play Queens Park Rangers later today.

With the win Blackburn is out of the drop-dead zone. The Wanderers are in 17th place with 17 points.

Both Wigan and Queens Park Rangers are in the you’re outta here zone but they both play later today.

Wigan is whale dung with 15 and Queens Park Rangers are 18th with 17 points but the Swans are a minus 16.

Bolton is locked in 19th place with 16 points.

Since the mighty boys from Old Trafford stunk the joint out in their 3-0 loss to Newcastle they are attempting to right their ship. This loss to Toons was bad. Sure, the City blow out was bad but losing to Toons give me a break will ya.

City is loaded and they are ready for bear. Toons on the other hand are just back in the EPL for two years since their demotion three years ago.

Since the fiasco at Newcastle Man U has beaten Man City in the FA Cup. Make no mistake about it this was a huge win for Sir Alex and the boys.

Rooney was pissed he was left off the squad that lost to Blackburn on New Years Eve.

All of this drama has an effect on players and their morale and how they perform on the pitch.

We Arsenal fans know this all too well. We have had our share of crap since the season started in August. We started out like crap now the guys are playing well. Sure Arsenal has stubbed their toes but so have City and Man U along the way and this has allowed the guys to stay in touch with the leader board.

Our guys have had their chances to cut the gap but my Gunners lost to Fulham on January 2nd 2-1. In our last four matches we have two wins, one loss, and one tie.

We have to win our match against Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.

City is top dog with 48 points.

Man U is second on goal difference with 45.

Spurs are third with 45.

Chelsea is fourth with 37 and we are fifth with 36.

City is reeling.

One can argue that these two losses were in the FA Cup and Carling Cup but the facts are that the Citizens lost to Man U and Liverpool. City played two top-flight clubs. The Citizens used most of their regular players in these two matches.

One thing you can make book on City will hit a losing streak. It happens to everyone.

My guys from Arsenal hit a rough stretch in their unbeaten season but the guys rose up and managed to get either a tie or a win instead of the dreaded “L”.

Going unbeaten is very hard.

The definition of impossible is extremely difficult.

Look my guys from Arsenal the door is open all we have to do is win baby.

Spurs played their game in hand against Everton on Wednesday.

Tottenham took care of business winning 2-0.

The win put Spurs tied on points with Man U at 45 however Tottenham is only a plus 19 compared with the Red Devils plus 29.

Goals by Aaron Lennon and Benoit Assou-Ekotto sealed the deal for Harry  “Me Boy” Redknapp and the gang.

Spurs are for real folks.

The race is on for the EPL title.

Spurs were in total control of this sucker.

In Carling Cup play Liverpool beat Man City 1-0. This marks two straight matches the Citizens have crashed and burned.

First the FA Cup and now the first leg of the semifinals of The Carling Cup so what gives guys?

Roberto Mancini started his best squad.

The match winner came when Steven Gerrard nailed a PK in the 13th minute.

The Reds can move into The Carling Cup finals if they with the second leg at Anfield against City. Liverpool can face either Cardiff or Crystal Palace. Palace won the first leg 1-0.

The EPL is back in action this weekend.

Man U has a date with Bolton at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The mighty boys from Old Trafford need to win this sucker. A tie will do the Red Devils no good.

The Rooney man killed all rumors that he wants to leave Old Trafford.

Rooney said “ I want to play for Fergie for life.”

Liverpool takes on Stoke City at Anfield.

Chelsea is at Stamford Bridge to see if the Blues can get a win against Sunderland.

My guys from Arsenal take a little trip to Swansea City.

Thierry Henry said this about his goal in the FA Cup win over Leeds- “I guess it was always going to be surreal,” Henry told Arsenal Player. “It was one of the best moments because it is the first time that I wore the Arsenal shirt being a fan.

“I became a fan when I left the club so now I know exactly how it feels to score for the club that you support. So, great emotions. As I said earlier on to some of the guys in the dressing room, two weeks ago I was on holiday in Mexico on the beach and here I am scoring the winner against Leeds.

“Obviously I am going to grab some headlines and stuff like that but Nico Yennaris and Ignasi Miquel at the back, along with some of the other guys, played really well. I was at the end of a great move but as I said many times, it is all about the team. We went through and that is the most important thing.”

My guys from Arsenal picked up a 1-0 win over Leeds in the FA Cup.

Thierry Henry scored the only goal of the match in the 78th minute.

Arsene Wenger used mostly second stringers in this encounter.

The win propelled the guys into the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Henry’s triumphant return to Arsenal gave us what we needed.

A “W” baby.

He is Arsenal’s top goal scorer.

Henry has ripped the twines 227 times for my Gunners

Henry left for Barcelona in 2007 and then moved on the MLS where he plays for the New York Red Bulls.

Henry is on a six-week loan with the guys.

There will be a full slate of matches this weekend in the EPL.

Birmingham and Wolves were knotted at nil-nil.

There will be a replay in their future.

Spurs took care of business and shut out Cheltenham Township 3-0.

Jermain Defoe, Roman Pavlyuchenko, and Giovani Dos Santos tickled the twines for Tottenham.

Aston Villa destroyed Bristol Rovers 3-1.

Queens Park Rangers tied with Milton Keyes one all.

Swansea City defeated Barnsley 2-1.

Bolton tied with League Two side Macclesfield two all.

I will get back to my regular writing on Saturday. I am on the road broadcasting Thursday thru Saturday. We have a huge tourney we are doing  so thanks for understanding. Man U is driving all their fans nuts. This is a constant state for all us Gunner fans and Gunner nation. Let the fun and games begin. We Gunners fans live with this all the time. So welcome to our world.

Man U has now dropped two matches in a row. Are the mighty boys from Old Trafford in danger of falling apart?

It might well be.

Toons took it to Man U the entire match.

The Red Devils gave up.

This is the second time Sir Alex and the Boys quit.

Can this be the result of losing Van de Sar in goal.

Man U is very young in the back line.

The Red Devils defend like girls.

Make no mistake about it Newcastle outplayed Man U.

Goals by Demba Ba, Yohan Cabaye, and own goal Phil Jones killed Sir Alex and the boys.

This was Toons first win against Man U since 2001.

Man City is alone at the top of the table with 48 points.

Man U is second with 45.

Tottenham is third with 42.

Look folks lets get one thing straight Man U is in the process of changing the old guard to the young guard. Phil Jones, David de Gea, Anders Lindegaard, an aging Rio Ferdinand plus just about over the hill Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs in midfield problems will surface.

Man U is revamping their squad.

Once these guys find their stride watch out.

There have been flashes of brilliance combined with stupidity.

Are Man U dead?

Don’t write them off yet.

The conventional wisdom is that City will win the whole enchilada.

The Citizens haven’t really hit a rough patch yet.

Trust me City will.

After stubbing their toes against Sunderland the Citizens returned to form and kicked Liverpool’s ass 3-0.

This sucker wasn’t even close.

City took the Reds to the woodshed.

Goals by Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure, and James Milner put away a Liverpool club that was in over its head.

Sure the Citizens were down a man late but that did matter at all.

City is top dog again with 48 points.

Tottenham defeated a stubborn West Brom squad 1-0.

Jermain Defoe’s goal in the 63rd minute saved Spurs butts.

Tottenham has 42 points.

Spurs are third six points behind City with a game in hand.

The pressure is squarely on Man U to beat Toons later today at Sports Direct Arena.

After today the boys will take a break from EPL and play in the FA Cup this weekend.
