Man U has booked their date with the dirty cheaters from Barca. Yes, this is the crème da crème of futebol clubs in the world.

Sir Alex and the boys scored two-second half goals to put away a pesky German side Schalke 04 4-1 and 6-1 aggregate.

Sure it was touch and go for a moment or two when Schalke cut the Red Devils lead 2-1 on a goal Jose Jurado in the 35^th minute.

Sloppy and stupid defending by Man U caused the Jurado goal.

The mighty boys from Old Trafford rattled the cages on two-second half goals by Anderson (72^nd & 76^th minutes).

Antonio Valencia and Darron Gibson ripped the twines for Sir Alex and his mates.

Man U looked good but Sir Alex and the boys will have their hands full with Barcelona.

The Spanish side has real firepower and tremendous team speed.

The Red Devils have team speed to burn but Man U lacks some real Gatline gun firepower.

I can’t wait for this puppy.

The fun happens on May 28^th at Wembley.

On a huge side note, Sir Alex made eight changes to the team that started against Arsenal last Sunday.

Sir Alex has his eye on the EPL prize.

Sir Alex had this to say- “They did me proud. It was a semi-final and the fact it’s such an important game does create a bit of doubt in your mind of ‘Am I doing the right thing?’ but I’m glad we were vindicated.

“It’s fantastic for the club. We’re where we want to be. I’ve said many times we should have done better in Europe over the years and I think this team can win the cup.”

Keeper Edwin van der Sar said this “perfect” demolition of Schalke. It was perfect, after the first leg we were quite well set up to be able to make changes and keep the majority of players fresh for the big game on Sunday.

“We saw how emotional Barcelona were yesterday and maybe our reaction was a bit more subdued but Barca’s was because they have a big rivalry (against Real Madrid).

“Barcelona play exceptionally good football and of course it’s going to be difficult, they showed that in the final in 2009. We have to show we learned the lesson from that one and be better prepared.”

Man U is perfect on the road. The mighty boys from Old Trafford have no wins, no losses, and four ties on the road this season.

Man U and Sunderland ended in nil-nil tie at the Stadium of Light.

Edwin van de Sar made a key save in the 16^th minute to preserve the scoreless sheet.

Bolo Zenden hit the post in the 82^nd minute. Almost, coulda, woulda but not on this day.

Dimitar Berbatov nailed a winner but the zebras called him for offsides.

Man U is living dangerously on the road.

Sir Alex didn’t start his best side.

Rooney and Berbatov didn’t start.

Rooney didn’t play at all.

Michael Owen and Nani were the only real strikers.

Rio Ferdinand was back to anchor the “D”.

Something is a miss here. Man U is sitting back and depending on the “D” to win the day.

At some point in time, this tactic will bite the Red Devils in the butt.

The point pulls Man U to within two points of Chelsea.

Tottenham defeated Aston Villa 2-1.

Rafael Van der Vaart hit for the daily double to lead Spurs to the all-important win at home- White Hart Lane.

Everton finally picked up win.

The Toffees defeated Birmingham 2-0.

Wigan picked a huge 2-0 win over Wolverhampton.

The Lactics moved up to 13^th place.

Wigan has eight points.

Just when it looked like Man U was dead in the water, the Red Devils raised up like the Phoenix from the ashes of their own self-destruction. Man U pulled a rabbit out of their hat and scored a huge 3-2 come from behind win over AC Milan.

This was a huge win baby. These three away goals will surely kill AC Milan’s chances of advancing in the Champions League but anything is possible. So don’t count your chickens before they are hatched.

Super Brasilian head case Ronaldinho served notice that AC Milan was not going to take any crap from the boys from Old Trafford.

Ronaldinho knocked home a brilliant free kick from mate David Beckham in the 3^rd minute.

Beckham nailed the free kick right to Ronaldinho. Ronaldinho one timed the shot. It went wham bam right off of Man U defender Michael Carrick. Red Devils keeper Edwin van der Sar never had a chance.

AC Milan kept up the pressure on the fragile Man U defense.

Man U was able to keep the mounting pressure at bay until lady luck shown on the boys from Old Trafford.

Darren Fletcher fired a wicked low cross into the AC Milan goal crease. Paul Scholes stuck his leg out. Buda Bing Buda boom, it was all knotted at one all in the 36^th minute.

Man U was thoroughly out played in the first half.

Enter the second half and oh, what a relief it is.

The Rooney man, Wayne Rooney hit for the daily double to end AC Milan’s hopes of winning in their house.

Valencia whipped a cross into the goal area. Wayne Rooney showed some serious hops, He out leaped AC Milan defender Daniele Bonera. Rooney’s header went flying past the helpless keeper Dida to give Man U a 2-1 lead in the 65^th minute.

Rooney ripped the twines in the 74^th minute to take the starch out of AC Milan.

Rooney’s goal was the result of a sublime counter attack by Man U. Zoom-zoom Darren Fletcher goes flying down the other end of the pitch. Rooney gained the needed separation from Milan defense. And just like that, it was 3-1 Man U.

AC Milan scores a cosmetic goal in the 85^thminute by Clarence Seedorf.

The final score Man U 3 and AC Milan 2.

This was the first goal Man U has scored at AC Milan in many a moon.

Now what did I say about the fake Ronaldo being a wimp when it comes to nut cutting time. He didn’t show up against the French side Lyon.

Cristiano Ronaldo miss fired all match long. 

Jeez maybe he should join the masons.

Real Madrid lost to Lyon 1-0 on French soil.
Jean Makoun fired home the only goal of the match in the 47^th minute.

Now let’s hope Arsenal scores against Porto on Wednesday.
