My guys from Arsenal took Braga to the woodshed. The Gunners skunked em 6-0.
The rout was on.
This sucker was over from the opening bell.
Cesc Fabregas nailed a PK in the 9th minute.
Fabregas created the PK when he slipped a beautiful pass to mate Chamakh sidestepped the Braga keeper.
Wham bam.
Chamakh was tackled.
The result.
Our first goal
Marouane Chamakh was rewarded in the 34th minute.
He nailed a perfect strike.
Andrei Arshavin ripped a winner in the 30th minute.
Fabregas added his second goal in the 53rd minute.
Carlos Vela hit for the daily double too. He found the back of the net in 69th and 83rd minutes.
This was a huge win in our house Emirates.
We’re off to as good start in the Champions League Group.
Finally, the young dudes are playing as a cohesive unit.
Fabregas, Arshavin, Vela, Wilshere, and Nasri are comfortable on the pitch together.
Add Chamakh and we’re gonna be dangerous as the season progress.
Chelsea took care of business on the road whipping MSK Zilina 4-1.
Nicholas Anelka led the way with the daily double.
Michael Essian and Daniel Sturridge ripped the twines too.
All in all, it was a good start for the EPL.
Two wins and two ties.
Now it’s back to EPL play this weekend.
Gunner nation is happy.

My guys from Arsenal took care of business at our house Emirates. The Gunners blasted Bolton 4-1.
The win kept us clipping on the heels of leader Chelsea who blasted West Ham 3-1.
Yes, we played well but a blunder on the defensive end led to the Wanderers only goal of the match in the 44th minute by Johan Elmander.
Laurent Koscielny poor back header to the our keeper was responsible for the Elmander goal.
However, Koscielny’ s header goal in the 24th minute made up for this mistake.
We took the lead in the 58th minute on well-placed header by Marouane Chamakh.
The Wanderers Gary Cahill was sent off in the 64th minute.
Ten men ain’t gonna cut it against the Gunners.
Alex Song and Carlos Vela put the final nails in the Bolton coffin.
We are now in second place with ten points.
Another road match and another blown lead thus spelled doom for Man U.
After conceding the first goal, the Red Devils scored three straight goals to take 3-1 lead. Then all hell broke loose in injury time. The Toffees scored twice to kill Man U’s hopes of staying on pace with the Blues.
This sucker ended in a three all tie.
The mighty boys from Old Trafford fell into third place with eight points.
Man U sucks on the road.
Two road matches two ties not good garoto.
Wayne Rooney stayed home to straighten out his home life.
His absence may have effected the side.
It did at the outset but the Red Devils showed their mettle by taking a 3-1 lead.
Guys, you need to work on closing the deal.
Arsenal and the Red Devils are kissing cousins.
Why?
Both have trouble closing out matches.
Everton is a good squad but they are just missing that little extra something.
What?
I am really not sure.
The Toffees are in 17th place with two points.
This is in the drop-dead zone.
Two steps above stink.
Chelsea is playing great but lets remember the Blues are feeding on the little sisters of the poor.
The four wins are against Wigan, West Ham, Stoke City, and West Brom.
These sides have a combined two wins, 11 loses, and two ties.
This stinks.
Wait until the Blues get into nut the cutting time of their schedule.
Tottenham tied with West Brom one all.
The Spurs are off to a horrible start.
Tottenham has one win, one loss, and two draws.
Coming up on Tuesday for Harry and the boys is a Champions League match with Werder Bremen.
The big surprise of the day was Blackpool’s 2-0 win over Newcastle.
This makes two wins for the Seasiders this season.
Who would have thunk it.
Blackpool is in fourth place with seven points.
Oh, yes it is fun in the sun.
Toons had a rough go of it Moiré.

My guys from Arsenal hung on to defeat Celtic 3-2. The Gunners jumped out to a huge 3-0 lead then hung for dear life to beat the never die, never give Scottish side Celtic.
Arsenal rung up the cash register three times before Celtic knew what hit them.
Carlos Vela ripped the twines in the 3rd minute.
Mate Theo Walcott set this baby up with a great cross right into the teeth of the goalmouth.
Gunners Bacary Sagna long-range salvo from just outside the box ripped the twines in the 45th minute.
In the 51st, minute Samir Nasri nailed a zinger from dead center of the box to give us a 3-0 lead then all hell broke loose in the final twenty-one minutes.
In a span of 12 minutes, Celtic almost pulled a rabbit out of their hat.
A dumb take down by Jack Wilshere in the 69th gave the Scottish side hope.
Georgios Samaras stepped up to the PK spot.
Shank big time right over the top of the cross bar was the difference in the match.
Daryl Murphy hit for pay dirt in the 73rd minute and Ki Sung Yueng ripped the twines in the 82nd minute for the final score 3-2 Arsenal.
Celtic almost pulled it out but they missed it by that much.
Arsenal needs to work on not letting teams back into the match after jumping out a huge lead.
Step on their neck and break it.
If this happens, we might have a long season.
Out of the gate, we have a huge match with Liverpool.
This is a biggie.
In Campeonato Corinthians and Palmeiras tied at one all.
Botafogo beat Vitoria 3-1.

Pompey fought the gallant fight but in the end Chelsea’s superior firepower, won the FA Cup in a thrilling 1-0 win.
Chelsea had the most scoring chances but the Blues couldn’t pull the trigger until Didier Drogba’s deadly free kick from twenty yards out was squeezed between Portsmouth keepers David James out stretched hand the right post in the 59th minute.
Prior to Drogba’s deadly strike Pompey had a golden chance to spin the match on its head but Kevin-Prince-Boateng’s PK was stone cold stopped by Blues keeper Petr Cech in the 56th minute.
Wham bam just like that in a span of three minutes the match was twisted on its ear and the Blues stuck a fork in Pompey’s dream of winning the FA Cup.
Portsmouth is broke and given the heave-hoe all in one season, yet this was a glorious run by the foreclosed side.
The money made from reaching the FA Cup might help the bankrupt Pompey.
Frank Lampard had a chance to increase the Blues lead in the 89th minute but Portsmouth keeper David James said “No way Jose” and shut em down.
Way to go garoto.
All in all Chelsea was in complete control of the match from beginning to end.
The Blues achieved the daily double winning the EPL and FA Cup titles.
Trust me when I say this Chelsea is heading down the backside of forty. This means Drogba and the boys are getting older. Their window of opportunity is rapidly closing.
They need to bring in younger players to replace the fading stars.
The “Special One” Jose Mourinho brought Drogba and the rest in but the management has not found replacements for them.
Mourinho is good a winning titles with other peoples talent but his ability to build a championship squad stinks.
This is not Mourinho’s strong suit.
Man U had a down year by their standards but remember the Red Devils lost the fake Ronaldo and few other players. The mighty boys from Old Trafford played a very young squad.
Watch out EPL!
My guys from Arsenal are in the same boat. We were besieged by injuries. Younger guys such as Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, and Carlos Vela were asked to step in big time to replace RVP and Cesc Fabregas who were hit by the injury bug.
My Gunners will be ready next year to win the title as well.
Flamengo battles Vitoria later today.
Lets hope Rubro-Negro doesn’t stink the joint out on the road in Salvador.
I wouldn’t bet on it.
Mengao is in shambles.
