Mengao once again stunk the joint at home. Flamengo has sunk to an all time low losing to two straight sides that are buried near or at the bottom of the table.

This is getting past ridiculous.

After losing to 18^th  place Avai 3-2 Rubro-Negro repeated the same horrible performance losing to 15^th  place Bahia 3-1.

This sucks big time.

Thank God for some small favors as Corinthians and Vasco both lost.

After starting out the season on fire Mengao has dropped two straight.

Timao lost to Coritiba 1-0.

Vasco had their lunch handed to them by Atletico-MG 4-1.

Esquadrao de Aco started off the hit parade with a winner in the 22^nd minute.

Cristian Chagas Tarouco Titi hit pay dirt to give Bahia the early 1-0 nil lead.

Mengao found the equalizer in the 29^th minute.

Renato ripped the twines to level this sucker at one all.

Then all the wheels fell off the wagon in a span of twelve minutes.

Bahia scored two goals in a span of twelve minutes to salt this puppy away.

Dodo and Souza ripped the twines.

Can you say we are pissing this season away?

O time agora enfrenta o Corinthians, também na quarta, às 21h50, no Pacaembu, para reencontrar o caminho das vitórias.

Mengao was missing their main weapon Ronaldinho Gaucho. Even with him Flamengo manages to screw big time. All one has to do is look at our last fiasco against Avai- a 3-2 loss.

Still this is a very disturbing trend. We can’t continue to play this way and contend for a title.

Yet all is not lost.

The only side to move up is Sao Paulo.

Timao defeated Figueirense 2-1.

Top dog is Corinthians with 40 points.

Timao is in second place with 38.

Vasco is third with 38.

Sao Paulo is a plus seven while Gigante de Colina is a plus four.

Fourth place belongs to Botafogo with 37.

Mengao is hanging on to the fifth spot with 36 points.

Rubro-Negro is on a two match-losing streak.

Will we make three in a row?

If this happens Mengao will slide down the table faster than a penny being dropped from the top Empire State Building.

Rubro-Negro dropped two spots after losing 3-2 to Avai.

Against Esquadrao de Aco Mengao has nine wins, seven losses, and 13 ties.

Once again boo-Mengao found a way to screw up a wet dream. Flamengo was playing Avai. Leao da Ilha was buried near the bottom of the table. Rubro-Negro found a way to stink the joint losing to Avai 3-2.

With the win Leao da Ilha jumped two spots- 16^th to 18^th place in the table.

Avai is still in danger but Mengao should have never lost to a bad club.

Stranger things have happened.

Flamengo dropped from 2^nd place to 4^th place.

Corinthians picked a huge 3-2 win over Gremio.

Vasco defeated Ceara 3-1.

Sao Paulo lost to Fluminense 2-1.

Botafogo defeated Palmeiras 3-1.

Timao is top dog with 40 points.

Mengao is fourth with 36 and Timao is fifth with 35 points.

The race is one.

Ronaldinho Gaucho hit the daily lotto twice.

No one was missing yet Flamengo found a way to screw up big time.

I wish folks would really tell it like it is. Flamengo played like crap. Mengao gave up a goal within the first minute of the match.

From that point on I knew it was going to be a long night even though Ronaldinho Gaucho ripped the twines in the 36th minute.

Two-second half goals spelled doom for Flamenguista nation.

Flamengo is in a horse race with Corinthians, Sao Paulo, and Vasco for the top spot in the table.

Timao has 37 points.

Mengao has 36.

Sao Paulo 35 and Vasco 35.

Botafogo and Palmeiras are just off the pace.

Fogao has 34 points while Alviverde has 32 points.

The race is on.

Flamengo has two wins, one loss, and three draws with Avai.

This is a good move.

Finally Ronaldinho Gaucho has learned he is not just a star but also a complete futebol player.

Before Gaucho was just a head case that caused trouble everywhere he went Spain, Italy, and France.

He got his start with Gremio.

Only Flamengo was willing to take a chance on him.

Since Gaucho joined Mengao he learned futebol is a team game.

His presence has made Deivid and Thiago Neves better players.

There’s a ton of stuff to talk about today. The USA and Mexico battled it out in a friendly match in the city of brotherly love- Philadelphia.

Mexico scored first when Oribe Peralta did a bend around kick using the defender as shield off a great corner kick by mate Andres Guardado in the 17^th minute.

Tim Howard never had a chance on this sucker.

Howard went to the spot where thought the ball was going to go but Peralta did the wrap around shot into the left side of the net.

The USA got the equalizer in the 73^rd minute.

Robbie Rogers nailed the open netter to tie this puppy up at one all.

Game, set, and tie to the USA and Mexico.

The Mexicans out played the USA in the first half.

The USA came out breathing fire in the second half.

Here’s the caveat Mexico did not play their top side.

The USA was missing a few folks too.

All in all this was a half decent showing for Jurgen Klinsmann.

In Brasileiros futebol Seria A Corinthians played their game in hand against Santos.

Both clubs kissed their sister nil-nil.

Instead of getting full points Corinthians and Flamengo are tied with 33 points but Timao has ten wins compared with Mengao’s nine “W’s”.

Flamengo picked up a huge 2-0 win over Gremio on Saturday. This coupled with a Sao Paulo 2-0 goose egg loss to Vasco gave Mengao second place in the Serie A.

Top dog Corinthians suffered a 3-2 loss on the road at the hands of 18^th place Avai.

This is Timao’s second straight loss.

Wow, low and behold Rubro-Negro has cut the gap to one point.

You gotta love it.

Timao is in the pole position with 28 points.

Flamengo is in second place with 27 points.

Third place belongs to Sao Paulo with 25 points.

Sure this sucker was in doubt until Thiago Neves gave Flamenguista nation a 1-0 lead in the 27^th minute.

Ronaldinho Gaucho set this baby up with a great dribble drive and pass.

Gaucho turned on the jets in the second half and scored in the 72^nd minute.

Thus puppy salted away the win.
