Both of my teams are in the shits big time. First let’s deal with Flamengo. Mengao didn’t even bother to show up against Atletico-GO.

Dragao destroyed Flamengo 4-1 in our house.

This was a total blow out.

Rubro-Negro played without heart.

They quit.

Sure, we were missing our top player Ronaldinho Gaucho but the rest of the guys should be shot for impersonating a futebol club.

It was 4-0 in blink of an eye.

Atletico-GO is buried in 15^th place with 19 points.

Mengao is in second place but we sure as hell we didn’t play like it.

The idiots in the press made excuses for Flamengo’s crappy play.

This was a piss poor showing by Mengao.

In other matches over the weekend have Chelsea battling West Brom. Aston Villa takes on Blackburn. Sunderland-Newcastle.

The biggie will be Manchester United and Tottenham on Monday at Old Trafford.

Man U will be missing Vidic. He will be out five weeks due to a torn calf muscle.

This will hurt Sir Alex and the boys major league style.

Mano Menezes has included Ronaldinho Gaucho on roster when Brasil faces Ghana next month at Craven Cottage.

This is a good move.

Finally Ronaldinho Gaucho has learned he is not just a star but also a complete futebol player.

Before Gaucho was just a head case that caused trouble everywhere he went Spain, Italy, and France.

He got his start with Gremio.

Ronaldinho Gaucho was forced back to Brasil in disgrace.

Only Flamengo was willing to take a chance on him.

Since Gaucho joined Mengao he learned futebol is a team game.

He is leading Flamengo in goals with nine as well as five assists.

Gaucho has learned to set up his mates so they can score também.

His presence has made Deivid and Thiago Neves better players.

Let’s hope this works for Brasil.

Brasileiros has had trouble scoring as well as on the defensive end of the pitch.

Time will tell if this move will address some of the problems.

One of the key players missing is Kaka.

He has been MIA since last year due to an injury.

Kaka was the set up guy who ran the offense.

Think QB or point guard in hoops.

The other huge selection is the Hulk who played for Porto.

In this match Ronaldinho Gaucho is suspended due to yellow cards in Mengao’s last two matches.

This sucks big time.

Second place belongs Corinthians. Timao has ten points.

Palmeiras has eight points.

Mengao dominated the match but could only dent the back of the net once- A medida que a etapa foi passando, o Atlético-PR foi transpassando a marcação do Flamengo e começou a dominar as ações da partida. Porém o problema de objetividade também atingia a equipe de Adílson Batista. Por isso, as bolas paradas se transformaram em trunfo. Contudo, tão ruim era a fase, que a bola teimava em não entrar.

O segundo tempo começou e Vanderlei mudou a disposição tática do Flamengo. O treinador promoveu a entrada de Deivid e Diego Maurício, sacando o meio-campo Bottinelli e Wanderley. Mas não deu tanto resultado e o Atlético-PR continuava melhor.

We don’t have a very good offense nor is our “D” worth a damn.

Lomba has only given up two goals in the three matches he has played since Bruno was sent to the hoosegow.

He is not the problem. Marcelo Lomba was hung out to dry by his cappy defensive mates.

We need a huge lift.

Fluminense and Botafogo tied one in the all-important Rio de Janeiro derby.

This tie cost Flu the top spot in the Campeonato.

Third place belongs to Ceara with 20 bad boys.

Vovo and Palmeiras tied one all.

Vasco has moved outta the drop zone.

Botafogo is now in the heave-hoe zone.

The Flamengo guys won’t play until Sunday August 1^st  in a huge derby match against Vasco.

Corinthians lost to Atletico-GO 3-1.

Po-de-arroz has 22 points while Timao has 21 points.

Ceara and Guarani tied one all.

Ceara reminds in third place with 19 points.

Internacional is now in fourth place with 15 points.

Colorado beat Atletico-MG 2-1.

After Mengao tied Avai one all Flamengo dropped to fifth spot with 15 points.

Both sides are tied with a plus three-goal difference but Internacional has five wins compared with four for Rubro-Negro.

Sao Paulo is now in 13^th place with 12 points.

Vasco is still entrenched in the drop zone after a one all tie with Gremio.

Gigante de Colina is in 18^th place 10 points.

Gremio and Atletico-PR have 10 points as well but Furacão a step above the drop zone in 16^th place.

We have some huge matches on Saturday and Sunday.

Flamengo battles Internacional, Santos-Sao Paulo, Fluminense-Botafogo will duke it out on Sunday.
