De Futebol
It doesn’t matter what the competition is UEFA League, the Champions League or Tidily winks Sir Alex and the boys have a kick ass side. After being bounced out of the Champions League at the Group stage Man U kicked ass and took names in their 2-0 romp over Ajax in the Europa League.
Goals by Ashley Young and Chicharito paved the way for the Red Devil.
Young’s goal was his first since September 2011.
Tom Cleverly played for the mighty boys from Old Trafford for the first time in three months.
The last time Man U played in the UEFA was 1995. Folks that’s seventeen years ago.
Man U picked up the all-important two away goals and the 2-0 lead on aggregate.
Chicharito said this- ”We know it is a leg of two games. We wanted a great result and thankfully we got the two goals,” he told Channel Five. ”We know Ajax is a difficult team, they have history in the European cups.
”We know there is 90 minutes more. We can’t say we are through yet.”
Sir Alex was not a happy camper concerning his guys performance. ”I’m delighted with the scoreline,” he said. ”It was a very ordinary performance from us though. We didn’t hit any great heights.
”We improved in the second half and probably deserved to win it in the end. I know Ajax can make it difficult with the system they play, but we didn’t get any tempo into our game. It was not a brilliant performance, but good enough.”

The second leg will be played at Old Trafford.
Man City scored a come from behind win 2-1 over FC Porto.
An own goal by Porto’s Alvaro Pereira in the 55th minute and the match winner by Sergio Aquero in the 84th minute gave the Citizens the all-important road win.
Man City has a 2-1 aggregate plus a the two away goals.
The Citizens will play FC Porto in the Citizens house.
Roberto Mancini said he didn’t make any adjustments in the second half. In the first half Man City sucked. This is a crock of shit. Any coach or manager worth his salt seeing his team or side stinking the joint out will always make adjustments.
”I think that we played a good game,” he told ITV. ”We played very well. In the first half we had three or four chances to score and we were unlucky but in the second half we played very well.
”I told them only to play as we know how. In the second half maybe we played higher (up the pitch) but we had seven or eight chances to score and more importantly we didn’t give Porto which is important because Porto are a top team.”
