Not much is happening in The EPL on Saturday. Only two matches will take place. Hull City battles Burnley. West Ham and Sunderland will duke it out.
These two matches are of extreme importance to Hull City, West Ham, and Burnley.
The Hammers, the Tigers, and the Clarets are on the verge of extinction in The EPL.
If either the Clarets or the Tigers win this baby, the loser will have a fork stuck in their chances staying afloat in The EPL.
One of the FA Cup semifinals will be happening as well too on Saturday.
Chelsea and Aston Villa have a hot date at Wembley Stadium.
Last time out the Blues killed Villa 7-2. Will we have a repeat of the massacre?
We will find out real quick.
If I were, a betting man bet the house on Chelsea.
Chelsea will then turn around and battle Bolton on Tuesday April 13. Oh yes, for we are in nut cutting time.
When the mighty boys from Old Trafford got the heave-hoe from the Champions League, be a force to be reckoned with?
All the Red Devils have worry about is the EPL title race.
Rooney and the guys will be well rested when they take on Blackburn on Sunday.
Will this tilt the title in the Red Devils way?
We will see.
My guys from Arsenal will be off until Wednesday. We will take on Tottenham. The Spurs have a hot FA Cup semifinal match with Portsmouth

Mengao had a chance to move atop the table in Group 8 in the Copa Libertadores. Instead, Rubro-Negro stunk the joint out. Playing before the rain soaked hone crowd in Maracanã Flamengo tied Universidad de Chile 2-2.
Mengao gave up the first goal when Walter Montillo ripped the twines in the 43rd minute.
Flamengo scored the next two goals to take a 2-1 lead before giving up the equalizer in the 90th minute.
Matias Nicolas Rodriguez hit for pay dirt to send us Flamenguistas home all washed up and sad.
Silêncio no Maracanã. E expectativa para domingo.
Before the match began, Flamengo paid a tribute to the 170 folks who were killed by the floods earlier this week in Rio de Janeiro.
UOL had this to say about Mengao giving up the late equalizer. UOL wrote that Rubro-Negro relaxed. Give a break. It was dumb. This cost us first place Group 8. This was dumb.
After falling behind just before the break, Mengao pushed the attack in the second half. Flamengo inserted Petkovic in the line up after us Flamenguistas began showering the joint with boos.
This resulted in two-second half goals.
Explosão no Maracanã.
The one saving grace is this. Mengao could have lost so I guess a tie is better than a loss.
Yes, this is true.

All good things must come to an end. The Red Devils crashed and burn at home against Bayern Munich.
Man U won the match 3-2 but lost the war on away goals.
The mighty boys from Old Trafford gave up two goals after jumping out to a 3-nil lead.
Ivica Olic scored in the 43rd minute.
The away winner was knocked home by Arjen Robben in the 74th minute to send the Old Trafford crowd home in a shower of tears.
Another mighty EPL club bites the dust.
This was not a good day at Black Rock for the EPL.
Man U jumped out a huge 3-nil lead.
Darren Gibson ripped the twines in the 3rd minute. The Wayne Man set up this goal. He made a perfect pass to mate Gibson who dialed up long distance.
Nani flicked a shot past the keeper Jorg Butt in the 7th minute to give Man U a 2-nil lead.
Valencia fired a sublime cross into the teeth of Bayern Munich’s goal line “D”.
Nani added another goal in the 41st minute. Rooney fired a weak shot on goal. Nani gathered the rebound and hit pay dirt.
After Munich score in the 43rd minute, Man U’s Rafael committed a dumb play when he pulled down Ribery in the 50th minute. This was Rafael’s second booking so you’re outta here.
Game, set and match to Bayern.
This will be the first time in four years that no EPL club will make it into the Champions League semifinals. Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, and Liverpool have all crashed and burned out of the Champions League.
The run is over.
Now the big three can concentrate on the EPL race.

A funny thing happened on the way to Barcelona. Our guys from Arsenal were missing their key players. It was a slaughter. Barca handed us our lunch 4-1.
What did you expect miracles.
The Gunners were without Fabregas, Alex Song, and Andrea Arshavin.
Jeez, this is like sending the lamb out to fight the wolves armed with a butter knife.
We never had a chance.
This is similar to a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.
Lionel Messi hit for the quadruple.
My grandmother could have done that against an injury depleted squad.
She’s been dead since 1976.
Messi is good but lets see how he would have done against our best.
Nicholas Bendtner scored Arsenal’s lone tally in the 18th minute.
This was good but it went downhill from there.
Injuries are killing us.
Enough said on this subject.
In the Clausura Boca Juniors is a race to see how fast they can stink the joint out. Boca gave up a late goal to Rosario Central and wound up losing 2-1.
River Plate lost to Lanus 1-0.
Both River and Boca stink to high heaven.
Godoy Cruz shut out Velez Sarsfield 2-0.
Boca is hovering near the bottom of the table.
Boca is in 18th place with 11 points.
Rosario Central is in 19th with 11 points as well however; Boca is a minus six while Rosario Central is a minus seven.
River Plate is in 16th place with 12 points.
Independiente sits atop the table with 27 points. Godoy Cruz is in second place with 24 points. Argentinos Juniors is third with 22 points.
Now the teams that have stunk the joint like Argentinos Juniors and Godoy are flying high while top clubs Boca and River are bottom feeders.
You gotta love it.

Mengao decide to give the big guns the day off. Us Flamenguistas were richly rewarded with a 3-0 white wash of Friburguense.
Flamengo has a huge match with Univerisdad de Chile on Wednesday.
Ronaldo Angelim collected the garbage in the front of the net and poked home the rebound in the 18th minute.
Denis Marquez set this baby up with a well placed free kick right into the goalmouth.
Denis Marquez nailed the PK in the 35 minute.
Mate Michael took the rock straight to the rack. Friburguense defender tackled his butt in the box.
Marquez was rewarded with the PK shot.
Mengao put the icing on the cake in the 77th minute. Mengao’s Camacho power drove the ball up the right flank. He fired. Bing, bam, boom. Friburguense defender Wallace redirects the rock. Own goal. Game, set, and match to Flamengo.
UOL wrote this about Mengao giving the big dudes the day off.
UOL reported that midfielder Michael played a very good match.
Mengao picked up a much needed win.
Flamengo has two huge encounters this week.
Flamenguistas need the “W”.

The Reds may have stuck a fork in their dreams of making it back to the Champions League. Liverpool and Birmingham kissed their sister one all. This is not good garoto.
Liverpool tickled the twines first.
Steven Gerrard ripped a winner just this side of the second half to put Liverpool up 1-0 after the 47th minute.
Gerrard was in the right place at the right time.
Mate Glen Johnson ripped a salvo. The shot was miles from the goal but the ball found Gerrard who knocked home the gift.
Blues found the answer in the 52nd minute.
Birmingham defender Liam Ridgewell leveled this sucker when he gathered in a cross from mate James McFadden. McFadden lifted the melon just over the Liverpool defenders. Ridgewell flicked home winner to send the Reds dreams of Champions League glory crashing into flames.
Five matches are left in the Reds season. Liverpool needs to run the table and hope City and Spurs both stumble big time.
Everton and West Ham tied two all.
The Hammers fell behind twice and each time West Ham found the answer.
The Hammers were able to crack the code.
Arguajo Ilan’s goal in the 87th minute may have saved West Ham from getting the heave-hoe.

Man U came out smoking in the second half but the Red Devils could not find the back of the net.
Didier Drogba nailed the match winner in the 79th minute.
Yes Drogba was clearly off sides but the ref said no way baby.
The goal stands.
There was no quit in the Man U dog.
Federico Macheda nailed a great shot in the 81st minute to make this sucker close at 2-1.
Two-second half goals and two huge question marks. One was clearly off sides and the other a possible handball.
Chelsea has hung on to beat Man U 2-1.
Chelsea has swept the Red Devils this year.
Chelsea is now in sole possession of first place in the EPL.
Chelsea has 74 points.

The Wayne Man was out. Without Rooney Man U stinks.
This harsh but it is the truth.
Chelsea dominated in the first half.
The Red Devils applied the pressure in the second half but they couldn’t crack the code.
Rooney was the missing link.
Dimitar Berbatov had four great scoring chances. He blew them big time.
Man U has now seven losses on the season. The mighty men of Old Trafford have two home losses.
Is this a dagger to the heart of Man U’s dreams of a four peat?
Time will tell.
There are five matches left.
Did the Champions League mid week tussle with Bayern Munich take the wind of the Red Devils sails?
Yes. Rooney went down
Ouch, that hurts.
My Gunners escaped by the hair of their chinny chin-chin when Nicholas Bendtner knocked home the winner in the dying moments (90th minute) of the match to lift Arsenal past a very scrappy Wolverhampton 1-0 at our house Emirates.
Bendtner’s goal saved our title chances.
If this baby ended in a tie, we could have kissed our title hopes bye-bye.
The shocker of the day was Sunderland taking it to Tottenham 3-1.
This was a classic ass kicking.
Before the Spurs could catch their breath, the Black Cats were up 2-nil.
Sunderland missed two gimmie PK’s by Darren Bent in the 41st and 62nd minutes.
It should have been 5-1.
But hey, this will do in a pinch for the Black Cats are hovering right around mid table.
This loss snapped Spurs five match winning streak.

Emmanuel Adebayor hit for the daily double.
My main man Carlos Tevez hit for pay dirt in the 7th minute.

The mighty boys from Old Trafford are a top the table with 72 points. Man U lost Bayern Munich in the 2-1 in the first stage of their quarterfinal match in Munich’s house on Tuesday.
The bad news is this. The Rooney man was hurt. If this puppy is serious Man U is in heap big do-do.
It turns out the Wayne man will miss the Chelsea match on Saturday.
This is not good.
This could kill Man U’s chances of a four peat.
We will see.

This is a nut-cutting match.
The Blues are one point back with 71.

Man U or Chelsea need loses or better yet a draw would work wonders.

The race is on.
