Sports/Futebol

The more things change the more things stay the same. Arsenal and Chelsea had an easy time of it while Liverpool stunk the joint out and lost to Fulham 3-1.

Let’s start with the obvious Arsenal took it to the Spurs 3-0. This match changed on a dime. In less than one minuted it was bam bam two quick goals and you can kiss this baby goodbye.

Robin Van Persie started off the hit parade. Persie was hanging around the right post. Bam! A great pass from teammate Bacary Sagna. Spurs keeper Gomes never had a chance.

The Spurs kicked off after the Gunners goal. This spelled doom for Tottenham. Wilson Palacios lost the ball. Actually he tripped over his own feet. Boom! Fabregas went bam in the other direction. Fabregas dodged three Spurs players. This was all she wrote. Goal. Game over.

Persie added his second goal in the 60th minute. Game, set, match. A 3-0 win for Arsenal.

Chelsea started out slow but by late in the first half the Blues took control of the match.

Drogba took it straight to the rack. Bing! Drogba was tackled by Bolton’s Samuel. This was a straight red card. Lampard nailed the PK in the 45th minute.

From this point on it was all down hill for the Wanders. Goals by Deco, Knight, and Drogba made it 4-0 for Chelsea.

Drogba is the lynch pin upon which the Blues attack is built. Without Drogba Chelsea would lost.

The crash is hard for the Reds. After dismantling Man U Liverpool came crashing down to earth. The Reds were stunned by Bolton 3-1.

Can you say Liverpool stinks.

This loss was worse than bad.

The Reds played stupid futebol. Phillip Degen and Jamie Carragher were both given the heave hoe.

Goals by Bobby Zamora,Erik Nevland, and Clint Dempsey were all Bolton needed on this day to send Liverpool to their fifth defeat of the season.

Manchester United rebounded from their humilating 2-0 drubbling at the hands of Liverpool by soundly defeating Blackburn 2-0.

The Red Devils didn’t score until the second half.

Berbatov finally found the back of the net for the Red Devils. A great pass by Evra into the box set up the one timed shot by Berbatov in the 55th minute. Boom! Straight into the net. The Rovers keeper  Robinson never had a chance.

This was about time Berbatov.

Rooney finally got on the board in the 85th minute. Anderson fired a great pass on goal. Rooney pegged it home.

Kiss this sucker  goodbye.

Man U gets a much needed 2-0 win over Blackburn.

This was a must win for the Red Devils.

Chelsea is still in the pole position with 27 points. Manchester United is second 25 points. Arsenal is in third place with 22 points. The Gunners have a game in hand. The Spurs are fourth with 19 points. Liverpool is in fifth place with 19 points as well
