What in the hell is happening to the Reds? They stink to all mighty heaven. Liverpool needs to trade the entire team for the swine flu and start all over again. This is getting bad fast folks. Rafa needs to go.
Mark this day down as a turning point in the Reds season. Liverpool has dropped four straight.
Yossi Benayoun found the back of the net off a scramble ball to give the Reds a 1-0 lead just before half but Liverpool’s “D” let them down when the Reds gave up two second half goals. The nail in the coffin goal came when Sidney Govou sent a pass that went skittering across the goalmouth. Cesar Fabian Delgado saw the ball walking towards the left post. Oh, look what I found. This is surely a gift from God. Goal. This last gasp goal in injury time sent Liverpool packing with a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Lyon in Liverpool’s house Anfield.
The Reds had trouble all match long dealing with Lyon’s speed. This is one thing you can’t coach. Speed. Either you have it or you don’t. Liverpool is slow.
Liverpool has three points and they must win all their remaining matches in Group E play in order to move on.
The Reds are next to last with three points. Lyon has nine points.
Sure, injuries are part of the problem but Jeez coach this why you have back ups. If the back ups stink whose fault is it? Rafa.
This goes back to what I kept harping on over and over again since the season began in August. Liverpool was not prepared to play this season. This shows.
Rafa, you brought this on yourself. This is tough toenails dude so deal with it.
The Gunners suffered a let down at the end of the match. Arsenal led late until AZ Alkmaar scored off a great set piece in the dying moments of the match to level this baby at one all. David Mendez Silva one timed home the winner off a great header pass from teammate Graziano Pelle.
The result is a disappointing one all tied between Arsenal and AC Alkmaar.
Fabregas scored for the Gunners in the thirty-sixth minute.
What do coaches always warn about? Turnovers baby. Those stinking horrible turnovers will always lead to a club’s destruction. And guess what? It was a TO baby that led to the Gunners only goal. AC Alkmaar defender Moisander made dumb pass in his own defensive end. Arsenals Alex Song intercepted the pass. Song fired a great ball to Arshavin and we’re off to the races.
This was classic tick, tack, doe futebol. Van Persie had an easy walk in goal.
The Gunners still lead Group H with seven points.
Do you want to talk about a shocker how about Barcelona’s 2-1 loss to FK Rubin Kazan.
I never even heard of the FK Rubin Kazan. Where the hell are they from? From Russia, that’s where they are from. Who would have known that without looking it up? Surely not me that’s for sure.
I bet this score sent shock waves through the rest of the futebol world. I sure bet Barcelona knows where Rubin Kazan is from. Oh, by the way did you get the number of the Russian truck that just ran us over?
Dynamo Kiev tied with mighty Italian club Internacional two all. Kiev outplayed “The Genius’s” club throughout the match. Sure Mourinho’s club almost pulled out the win in the end but this was close but no cigar. Jose your team played like crap.
It sure looks like the big boys have the case of lets play like crap week. Snake eyes. You lose.
So gag me with a spoon why don’t you. For these high and mighty types think that they can play shoddy ball and get away with it. Not in this lifetime.
