What did I tell you. This was the better watch out match. This is the upset city match. The Red Devils escaped with a two all draw against Sunderland.

Manchester United made several sloppy passes that resulted in a Black Cats goal. Bent was open at the top of the box. Bent spun and fired. He beat Ben Foster low left to give Sunderland the early 1-0 lead after seven minutes.

Can you say upset city.

Time will tell.

So far, the Red Devils seem to be just a hair off. Manchester United doesn’t have the fire or the spark to win. It is a lackadaisical effort so far.

Not a good sign for the Red Devils.

I have not seen such sloppy play and bad passes from a Red Devil team in a long time. This is very ominous. Is there a Black Cat cloud hanging over Manchester United at Old Trafford this Saturday? We will find out in the second half of this match.

Man U has yet to have a shot on goal in the first half. Man U is down 1-0 at the end of the first half.  The Red Devils had three shots total in the first half. The Black Cats have had three shots total and two of them were on goal.

In the second half Man U needs to create more scoring opportunities and cut down on the sloppy play or the Red Devils will surely lose.

Man U came out in the second half smoking. The Red Devils attacked. This is what I expected at the start of the match. Rooney had a miss on goal.  A few moments later Manchester United was at it again.

The shot. The ball rebounded off the keeper Gordon. The ball came out to the right wing. O’Shea fired a great ball into the box. Berbatov’s bicycle kick squeezed between the right post and the keeper Craig Gordon’s out stretched hand to level this sucker up at one all in the 51st minute. Way to go garoto.

The Red Devils are on the prowl for some Black Cats. Then wham bam thank you the Fellini movie happened again for the Red Devils.

Sunderland responded with a goal by Kenwye Jones. Manchester United fell asleep at the switch. Jones out leaped Ben Foster to nail the header in the 58th minute for a 2-1 Black Cats advantage.

Foster should have stopped the shot. He didn’t . Stats can lie. This clown is definitely a hazard in goal.

This was a one on two goal.

Stupid defense by the Red Devils and a turnover created this goal for Sunderland.

Man U deserves to lose this match the way they are playing.

The Red Devils have stepped it up a notch. Rooney has had two very good scoring chances but no dice so far. An equalizer is a must.

A second yellow card issued to Black Cats defender Kieran Richardson turned this match on its head. This was a dumb move by Richardson.  This play is the key to the entire match. Let’s see what happens.

Man U is applying a ton of pressure. This pressure finally got to the Black Cats. It was pinball machine time in front of the Black Cats goal. Shot. Save. Shot save. Kick out and bam match changer.

Evra fired a shot from just inside the top of the box. The ball was knocked in by Sunderland’s Anton Ferdinand in the waning moments of the match to give Man U undeserved two all tie.

Tottenham escaped with a two all draw with Bolton. Spurs Vedran Corluka header from dead center in the box tied this puppy up in the 73rd minute.

The jinx still lives for Spurs in Bolton’s house.

Hull City beat Wigan 2-1. This win may have saved the Tiger’s season. The win moves them just outside the drop zone.  Hull has seven points.

Both Fulham and West Ham have two games in hand. West Ham and Fulham battle each other on Sunday. This should be a wild one. For the winner can leap frog out of the  drop-dead zone.

Liverpool Chelsea is the highlight match of the weekend. Both clubs go at on Sunday at Stamford Bridge. The Reds and the Blues both limp into this huge tilt. Liverpool had their clocks cleaned by Fiorentina 2-0 while Chelsea had their lunch handed to them by Wigan 3-1. Not a good show guys but it could have been worse. Worse than what you ask? It could have been 6-0 or 7-1 but hey, who is counting surely not me.

This match will have a lot of implications in the EPL title race. The Reds currently have two losses. A third loss would seriously dampen Liverpool’s chances of making a serious run at the title. Three losses in the Reds first eight matches is not a good sign.

A loss by Chelsea would hurt but it is not a lethal blow to their EPL title hopes.

If Spurs want to continue to contend for the title, they must beat Bolton. A loss would murder Tottenham’s dream of winning an EPL crown. I would like to see the Spurs win this baby.

In the watch out match of the week, Manchester United battles Sunderland. The Red Devils better be prepared to go a full ninety minutes or they could wind up on the short end of the stick. This is my upset city special. I hope I am wrong.

Rooney and the boys need to come out smoking. They better be breathing lots of fire and put the Black Cats away fast.

I expect Manchester United to win. I am picking Liverpool and Chelsea to end in a two all draw.

Sao Paulo picked up a huge win 2-1 over Nautico mid week. The win puts Tricolor two points behind Palmeiras.

Tricolor fell behind early. Nautico drew first blood in the twelfth minute of the match. Nautico fired a great corner kick into the box. It was pinball machine time. The ball rattled around until Bruno Mineiro knocked home the easy rebound give Nautico a 1-0 lead.

This was a bit of redemption time for Mineiro. Bruno Mineiro missed a gimmie PK in sixth minute of the match.

Sao Paulo got the equalizer in the 59th minute. Hernanes curled home a free kick from the top of the box. This shot beat the keeper dead to rights. Gledson never had a chance.

A great two-man game set up the match winner in the 89th minute. Oscar drove the ball deep into the left side of the goal. He slipped the ball to teammate Hugo. Hugo easily beat the keeper Gledson to give Sao Paulo a hard earned 2-1 win.

Tricolor and Nautico had two players each given the heave hoe. You can say this match was a very chippie.

Palmeiras has a huge match against Santos on Sunday. Verdao must win this match or at least come away with a tie to keep the wolves at bay.

Goias takes on Botafogo.

My team Flamengo battles Fluminense on Sunday.

Rubro-Negro must win this sucker. I expect this match to a chippie one. Adriano is talking some trash about Sundays match against Fluminense. Adriano wants to rub Cuca’s face in the loss. He is seething over the way former Rubro-Negro coach Cuca treated him. The players call Adriano the Emperor. This is kinda cool. I love it. Lots of smack talking before the match. This should be a good old-fashioned barnburner.

Mengao needs to back up the smack. If Flamengo doesn’t all the smack talking in the world means garbage.

The greatest smack talker was Muhammad Ali. He talked trashed but he kicked your butt.

Mengao needs three points.
