Upstart Santo Andre gave Pele’s old club all they could handle. Santos and Santo Andre tied at three all. This was a wild and crazy match. Before anyone could catch their breath, it was 2-1 in favor of Santos after twenty-four minutes.

Kleber Pereira started off the scoring parade with a well-placed strike that found the back of the net in the seventh minute to give Santos a 1-0 lead. Kleber made the keeper look really silly. This was a walk in goal. Santo Andre defense was non-existent.

Seven minutes later Santo Andre’s Nunes found the equalizer when he fired home the rebound in the 14^th minute.  Nunes teammate Elvis Dionisio header was block by Santos keeper Fabio Costa. This was a great initial save by Costa.

Madison broke free into the box and  ripped a winner to give Santos a 2-1 lead at the twenty-four minute mark.

You want to talk about racehorse futebol  this baby was that and more. Both sides raced up and down the pitch. Neither side quit. They both gave their all.

Santo Andre tied it at two all in the 45^th minute when Nunes cruised into the box and knocked the header into the back of the net.

Both teams traded goals in the second half and this crazy match ended in a three all draw:

Santos fought very hard to win but Santo Andre kept pace and didn’t quit. Or as we say in America there was no quit in this dog.

Gremio cleaned Nautico’s clock 3-0.  Souza started off the rout in the 37^th minute when he broke free into the box and knocked home the winner to give Gremio the 1-0 lead.

It went downhill from there for Nautico.

Lopez scored on a header in the 67^th  minute to make 2-0.

Souza added his second goal of the night when he broke free just above the box and ripped home the winner in the 80^th  minute to make 3-0.

And that was all she wrote.
