It’s all over at Anfield. Liverpool had their clocks cleaned by Chelsea 3-1.

This victory is big for Chelsea. The Blues have  three away goals and this will force Liverpool  to score at least three times to advance to The Champions League semi-finals.

Liverpool has to win.

It was a great day for Chelsea.

A bad one for Liverpool.

Second leg takes place on April 14th at Stamford Bridge.

Anfield is now in total shock. Chelsea has scored back to back goals in a span of five minutes to take a  3-1 lead.

I can hear Dandy Don Merideth singing turn out the lights the party’s over.

It was two beautifully placed balls. The first was corner kick and Ivanivic flicked the header home.

The second Didier Drogba hammers home the second ball to give Chelsea the 3-1 margin.

Can the wheels be coming off the wagon for Liverpool? We will see.  That’s three away goals for Chelsea.

Only 13 minutes left plus injury time for Liverpool to mount a comeback and level the match.

Not in this life time.

You are not going to believe this! Chelsea just scored to even the match at one all.

It was a beautifully placed ball by Frank Lampard and Branislav Ivanovic headed into the back of the net to level the match at one all.

So far a great back and  forth match between these two hated rivals.

We’ve reached the halfway point of the match. It’s leveled at one all.

The second half should be great as these two heavy hitters duke it at Anfield.

I can’t wait.

Manchester United was very lucky to get a 2-2 draw with FC Porto at home at Old Trafford in first leg quarterfinal play in The Champions League. The mighty Red Devils played horribly. They were bad. 

Manchester United is now in a must win situation when they travel to Portugal to take on FC  Porto on April 15th. FC Porto has not lost at home to an EPL side this year.  

FC Porto has the all important two away goals. This is a big gap for Man U to make up. The Red Devils have to win. Can they? We will see but don’t bet the house on it.

The other  EPL squad Arsenal tied with Villareal 1-1. This was a good result for Arsenal because they have the return leg at home on April 15th

You have to check out the big match today April 8th between hated EPL foes Chelsea and Liverpool in quarterfinal action in The Champions League.   This should be a great match. I say let the fun and games begin.
